Welcome back to p.2 of the release of Anastacia's 5th [4th Studio] album!

Everything about this seems to of been kept very secret and hidden, but what do we know?

- She cancelled her contract with s.Oliver so she could end her clothing line to concentrate fully on music.

- She has left SonyBMG and has signed to the SUPERIOR Universal.

- She was recently spotted having a meeting with a Promotional Director for Universal to discuss album plans.

- It will be released in the last quater of the year.

- She's been working with Kara Dioguardi, who has co-written songs with Anastacia like: Welcome To My Truth, Get Ready, Pretty Little Dum Dum, I Do, Seasons Change, Rearview, Where Do I Belong, I Belong To You & The Saddest Part.

- Rumoured date; 14th November

- Rumoured producers; Ne-Yo, Taio Cruz, Kara Dioguardi, Guy Chambers, Lester Mendez, JR Rotem & Rodney Jerkins.

It has been reported that Anastacia herself has cancelled her contract with Clothing-Giants s.Oliver so she could end the line to fully concentrate on music-= her new album. It was also then later reported that she had left Sony BMG [Of whom she has been with for a little under 9 years now since 1999], and has signed a contract under Universal. President David Massey (who has managed Anastacia's career for a few years now), left Sony BMG, taking his artists with him and in result Anastacia is now signed under the label 'Mercury', home to artists such as: Bloc Party, Elton John, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Rihanna, U2 and manny more.

A few month ago, she was spotted (hardly spotted, as it looked more arranged for paps to turn up) having a meeting with Sven Kilthau-Lander, who is in charge of Universal Germany Promotional Director, who later announced that he was discussing album plans with Anastacia and that the album itself would be out in the last quater of 2008.

Kara Dioguardi, who has co-written songs with Anastacia before [Welcome To My Truth, Get Ready, Pretty Little Dum Dum, I Do, Seasons Change, Rearview, Where Do I Belong, I Belong To You & The Saddest Part], posted in a blog on her website that she has finished final album cuts with artists such as Anastacia.

Since then, few more producers have been rumoured to of been called it, all of whom rumoured are Ne-Yo, Taio Cruz, Kara Dioguardi, Guy Chambers, Lester Mendez, JR Rotem & Rodney Jerkins. It has only also just been rumoured and reported that the album is scheduled for release on November 14th, 2008.

I'm glad you opened this topic Josh!! ;)

From now on every official piece of information should be posted here and members should avoid the spaming!!

Btw: I think you meant superior instead of suprerior! :P

what months are in the last quaretr of the year coz that confused me
In the last quarter of the year we have: October, November and December!

oh so late summer early autumn for the album

same as sophie eb

The last quarter is the last 3 months. A quarter is 1/4, and as there are 12 months, 12/4= 3 ^_^

so much for math lessons

Depends. Sometimes they turn out to be true, and then they don't.

Why is Universal superior?

They're more of a music company than a money grabbing one, (i.e. Sony).

Also added another bit of info in the 1st post.

I dont see it either

From AFU:

- Rodney Jerkins who has just came back from L.A. stated she has worked/will be working with Anastacia. Unsure wether it's new material, however he's never worked with Anastacia before.

[i reckon that Anastacia has 'replaced' him with Dallas Austin, as I don't think she'd want to work with a pervet. Plus, they produce the same type of material, although Jerkins is more RnBish.]

- InStyle Magazine have reported that the album is due for release October 2008.
