May 24, 200817 yr I don't usually watch Eurovision with as much interest, so I'm not very good at comparing them to previous years. I wouldn't say they seemed better or worse than any previous hosts I've seen though. It just seems to be the typical wacky European presenters who all of a sudden become normal when you see the two in the Green Room. Edited May 24, 200817 yr by Adi_Gallia
May 24, 200817 yr IMO, Serbia weren't great hosts. A few things that bothered me: - The interval acts. They are there to entertain, not to put people asleep. - The postcards were AWFUL. Some didn't even make sense. - Stage was dire. - Presenters were the most annoying humans to walk on this planet. - All this "Confluence" c**p was overdone. We heard it once, no need to shove it in our face every single opportunity you get. :)

We need a positive though so nice stage Edited May 24, 200817 yr by brunoboi

We heard it once, no need to shove it in our face every single opportunity you get. :) I agree on the interval acts. I liked the postcards but they could have been better and diffrent from the semi final ones I liked the stage, i prefered it to last year Don't get me started on how c**p the green room presenters and that woman in the crowd was. However an improvment on the fairy thing who had her wish granted or some bull$h!t story from last year. The main woman presenter was slightly annoying, the guy was allright. I didnt mind the confluence thing, it was allright but mentioned a few more times more than it should have been
May 24, 200817 yr I disagree that the stage was bad, I loved it this year, one of my favourites of the past decade!! But I agree the presenters were a bit annoying. Generally though, I think Serbia did very well. And it was lovely to see the woman outside, I really believed that Belgrade felt honoured to be hosting.
May 25, 200817 yr Scoreboard was excellent, other graphics were quite poor. The presenters were alright... I think they were just as good/bad as Greece's and Finland's were tbh. Stage was excellent, interval act was hideous. Postcards were alright, got no idea of what Serbian life is like from them though, which was a shame.
May 25, 200817 yr the stage was good and the scoreboard was excellent,th epresenters were as good as any from the last few years postacrds i never take heed of but the green room presenters were annoying especially the girl she annoyed the hell out of me overall serbia did very well i thought
May 25, 200817 yr Very good I say ;) some minor improvment are needed thouh when you gonna get to host again ^_^
May 25, 200817 yr I think it's safe to say that Russia will put on a great display though next year in St. Petersburg. Probably be even bigger than Copenhagen 2001!
May 25, 200817 yr ya i can see russia going all out next year as they have really wanted to win for a while

May 25, 200817 yr And about Serbia as a host, i quite liked it - the interval acts were amazing, the stage and the scoreboard have been great though the postcards were AWFUL
May 25, 200817 yr the hosts were ok the scoreboard was great thaa stage was ok loved the ice skating in dimas that was smart the post cards made no sense to me at all :S
May 25, 200817 yr I liked the postcards, but the interval acts were rather boring. :( and is it just me or were the hosts telling us to eat food/drink wine at every oppurtunitie? They must have offered us an apple about five times. Edited May 25, 200817 yr by Sabrewulf238

Stage was excellent, interval act was hideous. Postcards were alright, got no idea of what Serbian life is like from them though, which was a shame. The women who presented, while see seemed a bit quirky strange at first, her facial expressions where awesome and I found her very amusing indeed. The back room presenters and that general viewing of entrances was rather poor as it was quite noisey to hear any of them and people jumping around in front of the camera is not a useful thing.
May 26, 200817 yr yea i thought they were good hosts presenters were ok scoreboard was good stage was nice interval act was great for a toilet break
