In the case of Gabriella Cilmi, there is due to be a re-release soon. In terms of Nickelback, and Rihanna (Don`t Stop The Music), then technically they could be dropped, from this chart. Currently there are 8 downloads alone, knocking about the combined top 40. Actually, there are 12 in the top 50. Ne Yo, Coldplay, Sara Barielles, in the top 20. Chris Brown, Fall Out Boy, Ting Tings, Snap, and Lil` Wayne in the top 40. Ting Tings, Kat Deluna, Vampire Weekend, and Mint Royal in the top 50.
May 27, 200817 yr Paul Weller is selling well on Physicals, plus the track is not available to download, its also selling on 2 limited 7 inch vinyls on sales of 1.6k the CD version has sold less than 200 copies, I expect his single will drop quite a bit later in the week. David Cook is missing from the top 200s, I reckon he will be added tomorrow.
May 28, 200817 yr Author Updated Weds 28th 2008 (info, up to the minute at 5pm) The Paul Weller song(s) are now available, as an e.p. download, as well as the physical 7", and CD copies. The single is a Double A side "Have You Made Up Your Mind/Echoes Around The Sun". Echoes Around The Sun, features Noel Gallagher. Is that the real reason that people are buying it? Have You Made Up Your Mind, sounds like a cross between Ting Tings, and Go: Audio, if you listen carefully! For some reason, I can actually imagine Status Quo, doing the Zutons song "Always Right Behind You". 12 Gold Bars, if ever I heard it! ;)
May 28, 200817 yr Author Hopefully Duffy will be able to get to #2. It is possible. Duffy is ahead of Ting Tings on Physical copies. Only Paul Weller (selling amazing on Physicals), and Rihanna, are in front of Duffy, again Physically.
May 29, 200817 yr Author Updated Thursday 5pm (top of the page). Noteably, Great DJ falls out of the combined download/physical top 40, this evening. As Neil Diamond, and David Cook fall from the top 50. Mint Royal smashes back in, on the rejuvenated "Singin` In The Rain". Pretty apt, for this week`s weather (although, this week, last year was the only sunny week, in May/June)!
May 29, 200817 yr Hardly any new entries this week, seems the chart is getting samey as usual. Also Paul Weller is still holding up fairly well
May 29, 200817 yr Author wow i'm surprised GA would be top 40 still It`s likely that come Sunday, they could still be in the combined physical/downloads/download alone Official top 50, Robin.
