July 23, 200816 yr Author I wish there was a website that had the MTV Dancefloor chart archive. I remember it being a top20 instead of a top10, with brilliant songs :) Your wish may come true...I do have the dancefloor chart archive and if there is an interest for it, I could post it here.

August 18, 200816 yr Author 2008-08-17 This weeks chart contains no new number 1 as David Guetta continues to reign the chart for a sixth week and thus makes a tangential record of the year with his last dance hit ”Delirious”. He has altogether five number 1`s on the dfc, four of which come from the latest album “Pop Life” – Impressive! His first time on the throne was in Autumn 2004 with “Stay”. Despite all this, his biggest hit is still “Love Is Gone” which spent nine weeks on the top last year which is actually the longest time spent at the peak on the top 10 side of dfc. There is only one new entry this week and happens to be a mash up of two songs, one of which we are familiar with on the dfc. Chicane “Saltwater” was on the dfc during the summer of 1999. This track was melted with one of Natasha Bedingfield least selling singles “I Bruise Easily” from 2005. The next contenders for the top spot may be Eric Prydz and Axwell. Noisia who has been there already, falls from 2 to 10 this week and we note that as the biggest fall ever on the top 10 dfc – a fall of 8 places.

August 25, 200816 yr Author 2008-08-24 Swedish Eric Prydz moves into pole position with “Pjanoo” which is his third number one on the dfc after “Call On Me” in 2004 and “Proper Education” in 2006. In other words all his singles have topped the dfc so far. After an impressive six weeks on the top, David Guetta steps down a notch and settles for first runner up this week. Last week we had one new entry which was based on a dfc classic and the case is even so this week. Micky Modelle has updated one of Samantha Mumba`s singles “Gotta Tell You” which was actually a bubbler on the dfc on the chart of December 2, 2000. Micky and Samantha are both debutants on this chart in at number 8.
