Posted May 29, 200619 yr From VirginNews Michael calls for Wham! reunion Pop star George Michael has revealed that he would love the opportunity to reunite with ex-Wham! bandmate Andrew Ridgeley. Wham! split in 1986 after great success in the early eighties. Wham! were something of a pop phenomenon enjoying a string of hits, with tracks such as 'Last Christmas', 'Club Tropicana' and 'I'm Your Man'. However, the duo went their separate ways after a final performance at London's Wembley Arena in 1986. But, now Michael wants Ridgely to join him on stage for a gig at the New Wembley Stadium, twenty years after the band split. The singer revealed: "I'm going to ask Andrew to perform with me at Wembley in September (06). "I'm going to ask him to perform 'Last Christmas' with me. We played the song at the end of the gigs together in Wembley. It will be lovely to do the same thing twenty years later." LifeLight

May 30, 200619 yr Why doesn't he let Andrew Ridgely join him for the whole tour and give him a support slot instead of just using him for what is so obviously just a PR story?
May 30, 200619 yr Cleaned this topic up. Personally I don't wanna see it happen I prefer George solo. ^_^
