September 2, 200816 yr So who will be watching this on Saturday? I might watch some of it, but I'm going out on Saturday night so how much of it I see remains to be seen. I'll probably just record the results anyway. :w00t:
September 2, 200816 yr I will watch whatever parts of it don't clash with X Factor :kink: I'll be interested to see the voting, seeing as the UK finished near bottom last year...if Ruby from Eastenders and her partner put in an amazing performance and still come last then it will all be a bit political again :(
September 6, 200816 yr this is a farce! How much did Russia pay the judges for that score! What's happening? :o I can't watch this, have they removed public voting?! :drama:
September 6, 200816 yr ...if Ruby from Eastenders and her partner put in an amazing performance and still come last then it will all be a bit political again :( Well they certainly did not manage the first bit of your sentence. Can I just say that Graham Norton has surely booked Wogan's 2009 ESC gig, as he has been hugely entertaining tonight IMHO.
September 6, 200816 yr PS. I thought the Polish were the best dancers, not that I'm remotely an expert on those things (unlike my opinions/arrogance when it comes to music )
September 6, 200816 yr Hum, I didn't agree with those judges at all... But congrats to the winners... Edited September 6, 200816 yr by NRS11
September 6, 200816 yr Ignore, i found out that Russia were beaten -_- Almost ESC 2008 results :kink:
September 7, 200816 yr Denmark should have won and this contest is SO $h!t lol they can only do ballroom dancing :/ WHY? it's a DANCE contest... they should be able to do what the hell they want! ALSO i thought graham and claudia were $h!t last year but i found them both to be entertaining and in general GREAT presenter's this year.
September 7, 200816 yr it was alright... Graham Norton was quite a good host actually I agree :D nice to see Poland win, Russia were completely comical and cringey to watch but of course came top 3  Ukraine were alright though weird voting system though, takeaway the judges votes and Denmark would have been a lot lower...I wonder in they'll implement a similar system in the ESC next year!?! politcial voting wasn't quite as obvious as there were only 14 countries instead of 40+ but Finland/Denmark, Russia/Ukraine and UK/Ireland swapped high points
September 7, 200816 yr We really should've done a lot better... I hate to say such a thing, as I've always deterred myself from saying it before, but maybe we actually do have no chance of winning now due to the voting situation. -_- And wtf at Russia getting those high points? Clearly some inside business going on there. Should've had a Georgian juror ffs.
September 7, 200816 yr Russia were an embarrasment, the guy they had dancing is a prime example of the smug people I hate  UK were very good I thought, still 5 countries finished beneath us, it's better than in the ESC  and Netherlands gave us 10 points! I think France, Belgium, UK, Ireland and Netherlands should form a voting bloc :smoke:
