May 31, 200817 yr I know alot of people rate Lil' Wayne as one of the industrys best, Kanye West says he's the best behind him, but his voice really is dog $h!te I don't know if it's the mostly the vocoder, but the song it's self isn't too bad
June 11, 200817 yr LOL I don't know what all the fuss is about regarding the song to be honest. Everyone seems to love it, got to #1 in the US. I mean I don't detest the song, but it's not all that to me... I love Kanye so let me listen to the remix he may help me LOVE the song.
June 11, 200817 yr I don't see the big woohoo about this song. It's like his voice has been attached to a machine.
June 12, 200817 yr And Britney's isn't? o.O I mean, I love both Britney and Lil' Wayne, but if you're gonna complain about something with one artist surely you shoud apply it to all the artists you listen to. Rap really isn't about vocal ability anyway, really? So I don't see the big deal. Excellent song.
June 12, 200817 yr Author How is he a 'lame' rapper exactly? He spits excellently crafted lyrics and his flow certainly isn't bad? I do not understand your criticism.
June 12, 200817 yr I just don't like the way he raps, think he just drags his raps, and his voice annoys me really. He's certainly not got much of a flow imo
June 12, 200817 yr His voice really is horrible; his pronunciation, the way he only says the first half of a word, it's like he's choking. Really foul.
June 12, 200817 yr Got an 8.7 from Pitchfork. :o http://www.metacritic.com/music/artists/li...3?q=lil%20wayne Averaging an 84 on Metacritic. Critical acclaim ftw. <3
June 12, 200817 yr Whoa. This album is getting plenty of excellent reviews, I may check it out...didn't contemplate that upon hearing 'Lollipop' for the first time :o
