Posted May 31, 200817 yr Did anyone see that 'Countries that don't technically exist but do actually' show on BBC Four a few months back that featured all the disputed territories in the world...wondering how many countries could there actually be in Eurovision if all these were recognised as being independent
June 1, 200817 yr Doesn't Russia have loads of autonomous places? Moldova have that Transnistria or something. And Georgia have South Ossetia and Azkhabia (sorry for the spelling!). Bosnia have Srpska. Denmark have the Faroes and Greenland. Ukraine have Crimea. UK has England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man (?), Jersey and the other island near Jersey. Quite a lot of countries that aren't technically countries... and I'm missing loads more!
June 1, 200817 yr Well, if Scotland get Independence (which might happen soon :cheer: ) and enter Eurovision, then Ireland can get some points from them, too! :kink:
