Katharine McPhee, the 25 year old runner-up in the fifth season of

American Idol will release her Verve Forecast debut on October 6th!

 

On Unbroken the vocalist and actress has co-written half of the album with

some of music’s biggest songwriters, including Kara DioGuardi (American

Idol), Ingrid Michaelson, and Paula Cole. “Terrified” features a duet with

Jason Reeves while Rachael Yamagata sings backup vocals on the song

she co-wrote “Keep Drivin’.” The album is produced by John Alagia (John

Mayer, Jason Mraz, Dave Matthews Band).

Bummed that her album is delayed. :(

 

The release date for Unbroken, Katharine McPhee's debut for Verve Records, has been pushed back to Jan. 5, 2010. The album -- which includes Katharine's current single, Had It All -- initially had been scheduled for a November release.

^I was wondering how the hell they were expecting her to get on American Idol this time of year... But the pushing back the album makes sense now :(

downloaded this - it's a bit Jordin Sparks generic well produced ballad territory, nothing other than How and It's Not Right particularly stood out for me

 

nothing unpleasant on there though, will listen again definitely

sorry to bump such an old thread but i friggin love this album!! shes so under-rated this is close to becoming my fave album of all time :o :heart:
