Donna and Joe failed to qualify to the finals in Kiev. The song was great, but I hated the clowns singing it! Ok, Donna wasn't that bad... but putting her in high heels when she is 4 ft something was a bad idea. Joe The Toad wasn't any better. His tacky smile and dancing made me gag every time he appeared on screen. Donna's voice overpowers Joe's, thank God. Backing dancers were fine. I think one of them fell of a table at a press conference, that made my week!

A great entry for Turkey. Such a catchy song. Sibel's voice was great and she pulled the whole thing off perfectly. The backing dancers were great. 'Nuff said :yahoo:

Ah yes, Malta 2005! Why this song didn't win is beyond me. This song was one of very few that I actually liked in the 2005 contest and I was GUTTED when it lost out to that evil spawn from Greece. A fantastic performance and the crowd loved it. :cheer:

Okay, I think everybody else in Europe hated this song. But it was one of my favorites of 2006. How it only got 5 points is still a question I ask myself. She was a great singer and it was a great song. It was a pity Europe didn't care! :(

and considering Norway 'don't seem to do that well' they've finished in the top ten in 2003, 2005 and 2008, which isn't that bad! love Serebro and Chiara though :wub:

Haha Linda Wagonmakers was ridiculously hilarious. She was actually one of the pre-contest favourites along with Nicki French! :o

Nicki would have been a terrible winner with her sub-Steps b-side

I don't know how "big" this in the UK or Europe... But this is huge here. It's all over the record stores (with shelves of the cd, with people actually buying it). It was at #5 in the Irish charts for two or so weeks. It's rampant in almost every disco in the country. So, it's a hit here!
