lol, stuart off BB - doesnt in any way resemble Darius in any shape or form, mind you I suppose Darius wouldnt be insulted to be thought to have muscles like those, Stuart is an odd looking man, reminds me of a squirrel monkey facially- not wanting to be rude to Squirrel monkeys obviously, nevr ceases to amaze me how way off people are when it comes to likenesses.

I haven't seen it. Darius tend to look like Darius to me. Spam, I'm looking forward to the icecream.

I did wonder if he went to see Evita which i believe was on because Louise dearman who played opposite him in guys and dolls was Evita.

Another show has bitten the dust quicker than GWTW but for the same reason - the critics.

 

All Bob’s Women Finishes Four Days After Opening

All Bob's Women had its UK premiere on Tuesday (24 June 2008) and, after a critical mauling, it will close on Sunday (28 June) after just six performances and three previews at the West End’s Arts Theatre (See 1st Night Photos, 25 Jun 2008). It had been due to run for ten weeks until 24 August.

 

In a statement released today, Guido Fabris, for lead producers Chokolate, said: "Unfortunately, this is another example of a European hit getting lost in translation in London. The original Italian version of All Bob's Women ran for nine months in Milan. We are extremely proud of our cast and production team and the hard work they put in."

 

 

It is such a shame when they aren't given a chance.

so if Darius was back in the UK yesarday right! then why go back to LA for a day or two

then coming back instead of doing the visting while he was here last week then heading over the LA!

to me personal that would make more sence!

In future, if I hear of anything I don't think belongs on Darius' site, I will not be putting it on here either. I am more than capable of posting things on both if I feel it appropriate. If I don't, I feel it doesn't belong on a site used as his official site. I don't need someone to transfer it over for me.

I realise now that I was in the wrong!

I reckon Darius stayed in London for a few days and was snapped there at the launch party and then he travelled to Manchester for an unknown reason and was spotted when he went out later that evening. I presume he then flew from Manchester Airport back to LA where he was almost immediately papped with Natasha and the boys in Malibu.

 

The comparison on DS was done between Stuart and that unsmiling picture Darius has on his myspace. I still don't see the ressemblance.

 

One thing we should know now is that silence doesn't mean Darius is doing nothing. On the contrary it could mean he's on the verge of something big and under a privacy contract which is exactly that - private until an official announcement is made.

He's always busy - or should I say, usually. I hope he has a break now as he must be really wound up.

Yes, it's not in my nature but I think I have to resign myself to wait patiently until Darius has recharged his batteries.

 

It was emotional enough watching GWTW. I can't imagine what it must've taken out of Darius and Jill every night, especially as for most of the run they were also working part of the day too.

And the undeserved way it ended must have really taken it out of them. Poor Jill was devastated.

No doubt it was a big blow for Darius. He hid it well in public for the most part

 

It was a most amazing opportunity which came out of nowhere or if you believe in fate, came because so many other things had gone before ( the albums, DIY, Chicago, 10th gala etc.) or through the luck of being in the right place at the right time with the right person. He must've thought his big break had come. He did everything right........ he got amazing reviews..... the audiences loved him.

 

For Jill it must've been so much worse. She'd dreamed of being Scarlett since she was very young. In 2004 she was presented with the possibility she could do it and worked on the workshop while still doing 8 shows a week in Woman In White. She had get out clauses written into all her contracts for other shows and when she finally gets to be Scarlett, the show changes almost every night with all the problems that entails and goes under within months. Cruel fate indeed. I hope she bounces back after a little break. She's a very talented actress and singer.

 

 

 

I think my heart went out most to her. She was devastated. Darius is used to things turning on him and he'll square his shoulders and get on with his life. After it being your life for more than 4years, it is very difficult. It was such a good show as well.

It's a bit sad that we can say "Darius is used to things turning on him"........... sad that setbacks have happened so often to him that we just take it for granted that he'll come through without a scratch with his head held high and ready for a bigger challenge because he always has.

 

 

 

It has altered my life. I hardly ever listen to radio now and don't read the mags or tabloids - I just get fed up with the media making sure he's not recognised as a talent.

Head in the sand pretending something doesn't exist or hoping it will just go away has never worked.

 

Darius has always been talented. He wouldn't have made it into Scottish Opera aged 10, if he hadn't been. The full extent of that talent is still unknown but it's tantalising seeing it slowly revealed bit by bit.

 

In the words of a song which Darius recorded but we never got to hear, "Anything Is Possible."
