Posted June 4, 200817 yr Interview on Lorraine Kelly today (from this morning) with Claire Blake - the writer of the new book 'Mad About The Boys' (story of Take That's biggest fan). We all know what its like to be infatuated with someone :heehee: Stalkers handbook sounds right to me :P If I'm being honest, I think she's in it to make a bit of brass while at the same time writing about something she likes, can't say I can blame her. I honestly couldn't be bothered writing a book about anything at all! It takes me all my time to read one! :lol: Having said that - when I heard about the book - I thought 'weirdo' (I'm not at all for hanging round hotels in the hope of catching a glimpse of someone - it would be just too embarrasing .... and perhaps a bit expensive!) But in this interview - she comes across as quite 'sensible' But you're right, in some ways the 'stalker's handbook' description could end up being quite apt. Norma

June 5, 200817 yr Author Have you seen that interview on Youtube (I think its gone now) where the camera pans round all of them sitting round a table - and Jason gives his views on these fans who go following them round. I agree with him. I mean - by all means - go to the concerts and if there is an 'official' thing like a signing or something - then go. And to chat about the music and stuff with fellow fans is fine - but to follow them round in bars and hotels (and in the process - being out of pocket) ... I think is just a bit daft! Then again ... maybe I'm old and have lost my sense of fun! :lol: Norma
June 5, 200817 yr Author Wow! I'll tell you something ... this book has really set the cat amongst the pigeons in the two biggest Take That sites! TTTV and TTAP! Glad I don't post on TTTV anymore (the site has become a trifle tedious lately). I do take a gander from time to time though .... because I'm a nosey cow! :lol: :lol: Norma
