I think the Kopeckan bookmakers are being slightly too optimistic about Mdice myself. I by no means think it's a certainty it will win. :o

I don't think it's a certainty but I think it's incredibly likely they will win - and do remember that my 1/100 odds are for them going top 10 David! :P

Semi-finalists voting in the final may or may not be optional, but it'll hardly be that bad given that there aren't any Russias for everyone in the semis to vote for :P The second contest wasn't ruined by semi-finalists voting, it still went down to the wire! :heehee:

If the decision is up to me I'm going to say it's required for everyone to vote in the final, including semi-finalists. I can't exactly deduct points from the semi-finalists or anything so if they don't vote I can't do anything about it, but I still want everyone to vote in the final.

 

As Tyron said, it's not like semi-finalists voting is going to ruin the results because we don't exactly have neighbourly or diaspora voting here. I just don't see how everyone voting will ruin the results here. :unsure:

I think he's referring more to the fact that it tends to take the element of surprise out of the result as there's usually a runaway winner in these situations, but even so I reckon BJSC #2 showed that the votes tend to be spread out enough for there to be little risk of it - IIRC the only contest so far where it hasn't gone down to the final vote was the last one after that show-stopping run of 12s you got :lol:

I Kissed a Girl is amazing becasue it is. :o End of story.

 

That said, I don't think it's for sure it'll win or anything. xD Tyron is being a little optimistic. <3

Yeah the more voters you have, the less likely it is to go down to the wire. And also, it drags out the whole process a bit too much tbh if we have 35+ countries voting. It takes like two hours to do when there's only about 24 people involved!

It only takes 2+ hours when it's done with images :lol: If it's done with text we could it with 35+ countries in about 2 hours, it's not that bad! :lol:

Well I don't really want people to feel left out if they don't make the final so I think they should be able to vote. The results shouldn't take long with just text. Hopefully the results are close but I think the odds thread shows we'll probably have a clear winner.
