any fans?...

i thought they were ok, producing some decent pop in an era where 'decent' pop was somewhat a rareity.

'i dont want to be a hero'........... like it

'turn back the clock'................... abit too schmaltzy

'shattered dreams'.................... ok

'heart of gold'........................... the best imho

'dont say its love'..................... not sure about this

Cheesy late 80s pop that came at a time when I loathed that kind of rubbish.

...... so its a 'maybe' from you then!

I remember them, the lead singer dated Kim Wilde, in the early 80s

Shattered Dreams was their best single.

They were okay, i have the album 'Turn Back The Clock'.

Shattered Dreams their debut hit was a good pop song.

One of my abiding memories from a holiday disco in 1987! I liked 'Heart of Gold' best though.

My mate submitted the lyrics to that song as a poem in his English class and got an A. Unbelievable.

Horrible yuppy pop!

They slagged the Smiths off in an interview once so that was enough for me to hate them

I didn't know that. Oh well another reason to hate them besides their insipid pop.

only know shattered dreams. it was alright. there was a dodgy dance cover of it a couple of years back I seem to remember

Yep...they pay for the love of a girl with the pure heart of gold....(TRUMPET SOLO) !

I thought they were ok, but only one album I think, 12 month wonder and then gone, like a lot of acts in the 80's, write a few good songs but can't follow it up.

In 87, not much I liked but admit I quite liked most of the songs mentioned.

Yes, I remember that, which is why I hated their insipid pop that made Level 42 look good in comparison.

Shattered Dreams was a good tune, but the rest was bland, bland, bland.
