Good to hear some official news about the 4th album. :D

It sure is. :cheer:

Welcome to our forum Gary-Lee. :welcome:

When do you think the promo will start :yahoo: :yahoo:

Don't know F/G, but I wish it would start pretty soon. We've waited patiently long enough. :(

Not long now though to the gigs.

:hi: Hi Gary-Lee - good to have male company. :D

I reckon the promo proper will be sometime towards the end of August - the festivals are just spoilers.

Freemasons: We had to turn down Madonna

Tuesday, 17 Jun 2008

Chart-topping dance duo Freemasons have revealed that their popularity meant they were forced to say no to a Madonna remix.

The Brighton pair - whose recent remix of Kelly Rowland's Work reached number four in the UK singles charts - told inthenews.co.uk that they had to turn down the chance to remix the Material Girl as they were simply too busy.

"We turned down Madonna the other week," explained Russell Small.

"Not because we wanted to but because of a time issue. We've got two more remixes to do and we've just co-produced a track for the Will Young album so we just didn't have time.

Thanks sunday.

Loks like we've been right in thinking there are going to be lots of different producers on this album. :)

The Freemasons eh? can't see that one being a ballad then, thanks sunday  this album is going to be a humdinger I just know it. :dancing:
Thanks sunday. I do so like the way Will's name is just dropped into the Freemasons' comments. "Can't do anything for Madonna, as we've just co-produced a track for Will Young..........."

I've changed the title to Let It Go, hopefully he'll keep to that one now.

Makes lovely reading. Just wish I was going to be there to hear them. :(

Oh so it's Let IT Go now? At least it doesn't sound like an Avril Lavigne rip-off :heehee:

Thanks to Ruthie. :)

Will's Ready to Go

I've had a sneak listen to several tracks from Will Young's new album, Let it Go, out on September 29th.

First single Changes, which hits shops two weeks earlier, is a sweeping mid tempo number with a big, uplifting chorus that reminds me of Adele's Chasing Pavements.

The title track Let it Go, meanshile, is a delicate ballad co- penned by Eg "Leave Right Now" White, which will keep the fans happy.

Im not a huge fan of the jazzy direction Will's taken in a couple of tracks but I'm reserving my judgement until I hear the whole album.

If he sticks to the out-and-out pop he does best he could well have another No 1 on his hands

Great that tracks are being circulated.

I wonder if Eg White co-wrote both tracks or Kim Dawson's getting confused. I'm actually surprised there's a track called Let it Go with the album title being changed.
