Posted June 11, 200817 yr Delta has just done her first public concert. Danny from the official forum was lucky enough to go and have a lengthy chat to Delta!! 1. Aust tour JAN/FEB 09. tickets sale Dec 3. Decca wants Delta in US for most of year. but Delta will be releasing in EUROPE before Aust tour. 4. Thanks to Delta, I can't even express in words what everything you did meant to me. Also to Rich and Dale for all the work you do!!! So off we go ( I took my sister along, I converted her to a Delta fan) and I was having her listen to all the albums on the ride down. Anyways, got to the club and walked right in a door and asked a man if we could stay in there and explained to him that we'd been driving for nearly 5 hours. We were the first ones in there some people were doing sound testing etc. I overheard some people saying "when she gets here" and I knew they were talking about Delta. So I talked to the DJ he actually recognized me, I'm assuming he knew the huge Delta fan and the shirt i had on. We talked a bit and he said I had arrived just in time because Delta was going to be here soon to do soundchecks. So I was like Awesome! So I sat down in some chairs off to the side and was waiting patiently. I turn because I see these doors open and... ITS HER! She was in front and Rich behind along with Dale. I was like "OMG THATS HER, WHAT SHOULD I DO!?!?" so I'm looking at her and she turns and looks at me and she is like "Your SHIRT, Delta Force, your from the forum?" and I was like in shock and she had already started walking towards me and we talked for maybe 10 minutes? Right away she and Dale took pictures of my shirt front and back on her personal camera She seemed to love the "Believe In Delta" part aswell I explained how long I'd been a fan and all that good stuff. I showed her the bag I got and she was SUPER PLEASED with it! She was SO HAPPY to get the forum book, she looked at it right in front of me! She brought up the tour and explained the label wanted her to stay in the US for longer and then do Europe before the tour. She said rehearsals in December and the tour in Jan/Feb. She didn't mention tickets, I mentioned that it would be good because people can save up during Christmas but tickets go on sale way beforehand so that didn't make sense of my part. And she went and did sound check and she made eye contact to me a few times! After it she goes "Wheres my Lovely friend Danny?" Then she came to me and was like "Make sure you are in the front so we can have a dance during the song" She also left her purse for me to keep an eye on, how trusting is that?? So then Dale came by and picked up her things and said "See you in a couple hours" So we waited got great seats, and I saw Delta come in really quickly with lots of guards most people didn't recognize anything I did. And then they introduced her and she came out and mentioned my shirt before she started singing and said "Look at the Delta Force" and pointed at me! So then she did 1) In This Life 2) Believe Again 3) You Will Only Break My Heart - She brought me up in it to dance with her and sing along on the microphone in front of everyone "she said I did beautiful" 4) Possessionless 5) Born To Try - She said will be a single in the US, but she had it sound like YWOBMH will be a single too in the US not sure which one second though. And she was done, people screamed for another but she couldn't (Anna had to come on) So I saw her go off to the side so I decided to see if I could get her to sign my CD and she saw me and she was like "DANNY!!" "I just wanted you to have fun" and I leaned in and told her "Delta this is the best day of my life" and she looked at me and went "Awwww" and then she started writing on the cover and she was like "Ohh I can't see what I'm doing" so she went to a bar where she could write and was writing for awhile. Then Rich and I started talking which is where he told me about the ITL Remix, (due next week) he said I'm gonna love it. Delta ended up writing me two really nice messages inside. And Delta came back and I was like "Thank you so much Delta" I probably said tons of other things along those lines but then TONS of people started to SWARM Like we were pushed apart. So I went back and sat down and she signed for a long time to all the people. I saw Dale and Rich standing off to the side and I was thinking I better try and get a picture with them or talk to them. So I did and they were too awesome We kind of made small talk while Delta was finishing with the last few fans. And so Delta was about 20 feet infront of us and I was with Dale and Rich and Delta turned around and goes "DANNY!" "We have to get another picture!!" So we took a couple together and one with Rich and Dale. She also said "I'm relying on your to put these pictures on the forum!" And when we were getting in order ( I think Rich said, may have been Dale) "this is our favorite fan" and Delta said "Yes! My favorite fan right here!" and after the picture I again thanked her so much told her she was amazing and so talented. I said "I hope to see you again soon" and she said "I hope to see you soon too!" and we hugged again and she blew me some kisses and we parted. Then I shook Dale's and Rich's hand and said "Thanks for everything yall do, it means so much" and I told Rich again how much I and we all love his remixes and he said thank you! So it was an amazing night! I was able to talk to Delta so much and she is an AMAZING person! So down to earth, beautiful, and talented. Did I say gorgeous? Brian is really lucky! They are AN amazing group of people! June 12, 200817 yr So the US album might have a different tracklisting if she's releasing 'Born to try'? I hope she re-records it though cuz it's so old to release as a new release now!

And that would be a good 2nd single in the USA ;) Probably means their doing a remix to it so it can be sent to clubs and stuff, but i reckon the BTT we know and love will be the single - though i do wonder if the US Mix will finally be used
