I told you Man Utd would be playing Newcastle didn't I? wwink

Would have to be Liverpool first game wouldn't it. Tossers <_<

Ah well, least its a home game first and the Liverpool fans should make it a decent atmosphere

We've got such hard fixtures in the first few weeks though :(

Sunderland-Blackburn on Boxing Day it is Mykul. :magic:

Pleased with that, let's face it I always expected a home game to start, because we've been at home 5 times in the last 6 years, it was just a case of who it would be out of 15 teams (not Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool or Spurs).

Not looking forward to the last 6 games, Liverpool, Chelsea and Man United all in there :arrr:

Are they all being played on the Saturday too, or will some matches be allocated the Sunday slot when TV listings have been sorted? Surely it's not common for all to play on a Saturday, even on the opening day of the season!
I'm pleased with the fixtures for Liverpool, i'm very pleased we play Man Utd so early on too, so hopefully we can beat them before they peak! And the end of season run-in looks the easiest on paper out of the Big 4. I do feel for Arsenal though... their end of season run-in is possibly the worst they could have asked for!

Sky/Setanta haven't picked anything yet...

They've only just come out - hence why they're all on a Saturday. (It's likely that the games will all be played on the same day on just wo occasions - Boxing Day (December 26th) and May 24th.)

  • 3 weeks later...

Hull and Stoke chosen more than Wigan?

Edit - But then I have just noticed that Chelsea and Arsenal are on more often than Man United (who won the title). Mind you, Man United are on the same number of times has Tottenham.
