Posted June 19, 200817 yr ... Capitol Music Group’s Coldplay will debut at #1 on the HITS Album Sales chart next week with their latest, Viva La Vida, thanks to record-breaking sales at iTunes, with a total that should be between 650-700k, and possibly even higher. Next up is Disney’s Camp Rock, featuring the Jonas Brothers, which is on target for 200k, but could do better than that based on multiple airings of the show this weekend on Disney Channel (Friday), ABC (Saturday) and ABC Family (Sunday). Capitol’s Katy Perry is up next, as the 'I Kissed a Girl' It Girl is showing some real strength with between 45-50k in first-week sales for her new, Perez Hilton-endorsed album, One of the Boys. Rihanna’s Island/IDJ repackage Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded, featuring three new tracks and a DVD of a live performance in Manchester, U.K., appears headed for 50k in first-week sales.
