I should be off out so I'm shutting down. Even if it says I'm here, I won't be until much later tonight or tomorrow. Bye for now.

Make hay while the sun shines, BT. I just wish it would shine more frequently around here!
Another lovely but windy day here. That's because I can't go out. I bet on Tuesday, when I'm free to go out again, it pours down.
It's lovely here. I feel I should go out and do something in the garden but there doesn't seem much point when I know the roofers will have to turn it into a building site in a few weeks.

sleep well....David's home tomorrow

I'm waiting for silence downstairs. I put him straight to sleep tonight which didn't please him but he kept knocking things over last night and it was midnight before I got him settled - he didn't remember anything about it this morning.

Having David home will mean that I can, at least, take the dog for a decent walk, go to the shops and get out for a while which always helps.

I absolutely hate if I have to stay in. I don't always go out but I like to know I can, if I choose to and I'm like a cat on hot bricks if I have to stay in for a tradesman or a delivery. I don't mind if they'll tell me a.m or p.m, that's not so bad, but few do nowadays.
I think that's what gets us down. We used to be able to just decide to do something together - I think Maidstone was the last time we easily managed it. I know Dave made GWTW for a matinee but it needed major organisation for it to be possible. It was worth it though. He thought it was really good. Not just OK but, a really good bit ot theatre. From Dave that's high praise and neither of us have ever said things just to please the other - you never know where you stand if you start that.
and Dave was very reluctant to go home afterwards (can't blame him). My hubby liked GWTW as well, even saw it twice, which is most unusual for him. If he hadn't enjoyed it, he would have said so as well.
It was good that our non Darius fans enjoyed it so much. And no, he didn't want to leave but he had to whether he wanted to or not.
