I've filled up the washer bottle

 

Wiped my oil stick and re-dipped it..... :o no Max or Min line..... :o

 

there are 2 holes which both are covered......I take it this means my oil level is OK

 

fingers crossed it passes....don't want to pay twice.

I normally get it serviced and they put it in for an MOT......

Sounds as though you know as much about car innards as I do. Hope it passes.

I usually take the easy way out. I put mine in for a service and also ask them to prepare it for, and then test it for the MOT. If it doesn't pass this year, I won't be buying another because it's really just a luxury run around. I don't need it to get about.

If my car fail;s - which is likely, it just wouldn't be worth getting repaired. The road tax is about as much as it's worth.

It's passed....it's not that old so it should have done, just I haven't had time to get it serviced, my Road tax was due and I start 7 nights next week.

We had a lovely evening thanks. Found a nice restaurant (but will we remember where it was) and I bought a pair of boots. Even managed to catch the last Waterloo and City train, which I thought I'd missed.

 

Stupid dreams again last night. Two tigers attacking people in the street, running home to safety and being too scared to leave again, knowing they were up the road, killing anyone in their sights.

 

I'd better go to work as well.

I'm sitting here (surprise, surprise) before Dave wants his computer back. I had a good night out yesterday and today I'm meeting a friend for lunch. Maybe things are looking up.

I've just finished spraying the roses, so it is now certain to rain and wash it off again.

I should be walking the dog - but it's far too hot.

The dogs legs uncrossed quite easily. He doesn't do well in the heat but it was still hot when I took him out as Dave was going at 6:30. I wasn't waiting until midnight when he comes back to take Dane out.

Which breed of dog is Dane? Or is he the Heinz variety?

I think a definate Heinz crossed with chocolate lab. A very badly put together dog. People still think he's a puppy. He's going gray very quickly now though.

I used to have a Golden Labrador - Lurcher cross b**ch and she was a wonderful natured dog, especially with all the children. She needed quite a bit of exercise though.

He's not supposed to walk for more than 10mins - good job I didn't tell him.
