It's not so bad for me. I tend to take a number of shorter breaks in a year. I don't have to take a set fortnight or 3 weeks. Imagine if you had only the one major holiday and the weather was so poor. No wonder so many Brits go abroad.
I had a lovely, rainy holiday in the Isle of Man n one year. I don't think it stopped at all. We ended up buying wellies and woolies. I enjoyed it though and so did the kids. I don't think Dave did.

I should be working in the garden.....I keep trying, but keep diving inside to miss the heavy showers ( at least, that's

my excuse ) It'll get done in time.

We haven't had rain for quite a while - it's funny because Nina said it was raining in London but not here.

wet is bad....food is ok unless it's after midnight....best just keep them out as Meg said

I had a weird shopping trip. I got completely lost somewhere off a familiar route I've driven for years. I must have got into the wrong lane and followed a vehicle I couldn't see past or something. I eventually found my way back, going in the opposite direction.

I got there, got a parking space and trawled around the shops without really concentrating. I shouldn't have bothered.

Some days it's best to just stay home. I went clothes shopping with my daughter yesterday. After about 4 hours we found two items withing 10 mins and they were perfect. It was just a shame we didn't find them 4 hrs earlier - but then, if we had, she'd have probably looked around for the rest of the 4 hrs in case we saw anything better. She looked lovely in both. She's gone out tonight wearing the tight fitting black 20's style short dress and looked fantastic.

That shopping trip must've scarred me. I had a dream I remembered!!!! ............................ and it was all about me opening up my wardrobe and drawers and trying the garments on another young lady. Weird!
Yes, miraculously enough. She was very willowy and waif-like but they all fitted and looked great on her.
So your alta image must be tall and willowy - or else they just wouldn't have been good fits.
My son reckons that I'm in a reality bubble that makes me look a couple of stone heavier than I am and I shouldn't worry about it as I'm still the same with in the bubble and it's only people's perception that is skew whiff.

I'm content as I am.

My dress size hasn't varied much in ten years, although it can vary at exactly the same time from shop to shop. I can get two sizes smaller in the likes of M&S who have shall we say a generous cut.

I think people who get all worked up about their body image often become obsessed and when they go on a diet, they're thinking about food all the time and they can't keep it up, so comfort eat and then feel even more guilty and depressed.

Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn what other people see or perceive......I am me, and people who base opinions on size or shape are too shallow-minded to worry about. To me there are far more important things.
