good morning

Lethargic lot, aren't we.Wonder if we are all feeling low again after the excitement of the Big Sing.

Wish we had something tangible to look forward to.

I'm about to walk the dog. The kids want to come to so it should be lively. School again on Monday. They are not overly enthusiastic.

My plans have changes and I'm not going away this week after all.

 

I'm still needed for house/cat/workmen sitting duties for a couple of days, so my sister is coming up here instead.

 

I don't think I'll be on the forum much because I want to make sure she has a nice break, but I'll certainly try.

I'll just have to look at my city through a tourists's eyes. I've been up the Eiffel Tower, the CN Tower too, so maybe I'll go up to the top of the tower in the Science Park at last. It turns 360 degrees - if it's blowing a gale I won't do it.

 

If we can get a day or so away, I'd like to go to New Lanark or Blantyre because I haven't been for yonks, and to see the Falkirk Wheel which lifts the boats up instead of a system of locks. As a piece of engineering it fascinates me.

We ende up going around the ruins of castles one year. It was really good. We, that guarantees Darius isn't going to do anything, doesn't it? We can all pretend to believe he was but put it off when you cancelled your holiday.

I'm off now to feed the hungry cats down the road. I'll be back soon.

 

This week my chairs at home have hardly had time to heat up a little before I'm rushing off.

You have heated chairs:? Now, that's posh. It's a wonder the cats don't follow you home.

Going to bed - which I'll do straight away.

Well, if anyone does decide to come on and talk to me - it's too late - I'm going out to lunch for a change.

My car is in for a service, just had the dog to the vet as he has a nasty sore on his back...now I'm waiting to collect my car and take the other dog for a walk as Bill and I walked home from the vets.

 

I'm listening to 'From a Distance' ......oh for some new songs :(

My dog has been walked. Lunch was fine but the service was really slow - it was getting dark by the time we got home.

I'm looking forward to 9.00pm BBC1............. 'New Tricks' is returning.

I'll go tell Dave - he was just complaining that he'd already seen the one he'd put on.

New Tricks? Don't ask. Very disappointing.

Dave missed the first 10 mins. I'm off to bed now. I keep thinking that I'll have very early nights but can't seem to do it.
