Where is the leak coming from or should I say where did he think it was coming from?

Just poured a Starbucks Mocha frappuccino and hoping I can see my laptop screen outside as I need to sort a load of photos.

Still, it hasn't been too bad a day for end of Nove, so we shouldn't complain. It's supposed to get bad for the weekend though.

Something to do with the taps I think. He seemed a bit baffled himself. He put in a new flexible hose type thing took all the tap connections apart, put in new washers, re-did the connections and sealed them all with tape as well. He waited for a while after he thought he'd fixed it to make sure it was bone dry, before replacing the bath panel.

 

When he left saying "see you soon", I replied "Hopefully not. Nothing personal."

Maybe he just can't stay away. I hope it's OK now though.

Luckily, the rain is washing the half inch of snow of my car so I wont have to.

We only got a very thin layer of snow here, but now it's gales and lashing rain. Sue

I'm off to Morrison's again. They've got Mamma Mia at £7. I've to buy it for my sister-in-law but I've had no luck yesterday or today so far. It sold out quickly yesterday and I've been twice today and the new stocks weren't in. Maybe 3rd time will be lucky.

We should be half way to Fort Lauderdale but are waiting for the Hotpoint man.

The ice maker has stopped dispensing :rolleyes:

We asked for a morning call 8-12 but when we rang at 11:45 we were told anything from then till 5pm :(

 

I've steam cleaned the carpets, washed everything including a new bedding set, had lunch, made sandwiches for the journey, and still we wait.....

 

I had hoped to look around before dusk but it will be dark by the time we set off if he doesn't hurry up :no:

How disappointing. Hope he comes soon enough for the trip to be worth the effort.

We finally left at 4pm....so travelled mainly in the dark....took us just over 4hours.

The hotel backed onto the sea front....very nice... great view to wake up to

 

......paddled this morning before heading to as many bike shops as Stephen could manage in our allotted time.

 

Now at my cousins....about to go out for a meal....just waiting for everyone to get ready.
