November 4, 200816 yr In "Nobody Knows You" did Darius ever sing "You show no fear. You walk in here tossing your high head" instead of "That knocks me on my head" ?
November 4, 200816 yr I must've made that one up and then sung it so often, I convinced myself they were genuine lyrics!
November 7, 200816 yr Can't believe it's been about 4 YEARS :o since Live Twice was released. It almost feels like we have lived twice waiting for the 3rd album :(
November 7, 200816 yr Author This 3rd album seems almost like a myth. Hope filmwork doesn't delay it even longer. Not that I know anything, but films seem to be the next progression. Their gain, our loss.
November 8, 200816 yr "but films seem to be the next progression. Their gain, our loss. " Agree totally on both counts :( but I would love D to make it big, even if it were as an actor. Once again we will have to wait and see :(
November 8, 200816 yr I'd like him to put some of his new songs on his myspace. The ones I like best on there are his oldest.
November 9, 200816 yr It would be nice to have some new material to listen to, but so much better to have an album coming out, with promotional gigs/ signings etc! to attend. I love seeing how wonderful Darius is on stage, but it's been 3 years since I saw him singing one of his own songs live and I worry I might never get the opportunity again :(
November 11, 200816 yr It would be nice to have some new material to listen to, but so much better to have an album coming out, with promotional gigs/ signings etc! to attend. I love seeing how wonderful Darius is on stage, but it's been 3 years since I saw him singing one of his own songs live and I worry I might never get the opportunity again :( Thank goodness Darius is so amazing on the stage, that the visions remain even now. It was so much fun at Lincoln. I can still see you and dear Helen, and Wendy and Julie with their hats on. I can see myself pushing through the crowd to try but failing to reach megham and spamfritter. who were deep in the heart of a mob at the front centrestage. I was gutted I couldn't see him at the concert he did during his first Chicago run. IMHO Darius is like a pendulum just now, swinging from one talent to the other. Some day he will get the balance and find a rhythm to make himself and us happy, using them all separately but in succession - perhaps in my dream scenario of film/show plus album and gigs - over 12 to 18 months.
November 11, 200816 yr A musical film - followed by a stage version? All the music with his influence though. Well, I can dream.
