Missing from these lists, are Coldplay, Jordin Sparks, Busta Rymes (all top 10). Ironik, Mint Royale, and Coldplay (Violet Hill) (in the 20). Ting Tings, Fall Out Boy, Madonna, Freemasons and Maroon 5...would be top 40, and N.E.R.D in the top 50, and Estelle, Vampire Weekend, and Radiohead in the top 60. With Kooks, and Usher in the top 65. 10 downloads alone, in the top 40, and 12 in the top 50. You can work out some of the other combined download alone/download/physical positions...if I say Stop and Stare is at 55, on the combined top 75, and Cage The Elephant are 42.

I can't see Sara Bareilles peaking at 2, I think Chris Brown will take #2 in the official chart, funny seeing Mariah in the top 40, she could be just outside it.

Updated Weds 25th (at 5pm).

Interesting but true...if there was still a singles chart printed in the Sunday People, and Mail On Sunday etc, this would be the exact equivalent, to it. This is because it has exactly, the same cut off time (up to Weds evening), and that chart, never included downloads, without a physical release, either!

Surprising to see Paul Carrack, at the top on pre-orders...him of Mike and the Mechanics, and Ace etc. Can he get a top 40 single, on the 7th Jul? I think, he could! :o

Interesting... the act Buy Now samples an 80s track Let's All Chant.

That would be the Michael Zager Band song then. But Mart!n it was 1978!!!!!! Or perhaps you, mean Pat And Mick (my old buddies, from Capital) in 1988. Actually Pat Sharp, was a Radio One presenter 1982/3, and even presented Top Of The Pops. He left Radio One, in 1984, to work at Crawley`s Radio Mercury (with the likes, of Ed Stewart, Geoff Aspel (Michael`s Brother), Peter Young, Tony Myatt, Ian Davidson, and even Russ Williams). Did you know, that Zager is slang for a wristwatch, by the way?!

I believe the Buy Now piece, was championed by both Radio One, and Kiss FM...is that why, it appears to be flopping? It is a pretty terrible record, though.

Pat & Mick's version is the one I know, as I remember all the proceeds of the single went to Charity

That`s right. The charity was Help A London Child (Capital Radio`s, version of Children In Need, running every Easter Weekend)...Pat and Mick also did "Haven`t Stopped Dancin` Yet", and "Gimme Some", on other occasions. Gimme Some, was a re-make of a re-make...Brendon (an Irishman) covered it in 1977. That was a cover of a Jimmy Bo Horne song, from 1975. Brendon`s follow up, was an Abba cover..."Rock Me" (which was a B side, of the Abba single "I Do I Do I Do I Do I Do". Gonzalez did Haven`t Stopped Dancin` Yet, in 1979.

wait...i thought there was a physical for VH..isnt there?

No Physicals for Violet Hill neither for Viva La Vida.

I think Dizee and possibly Jordan. Madonna will NEVER be number one now, her downloads arent looking strong enough and as for Kylie :D she just about made the top ten with her strongest single so this will never make the top!

The physical for Violet Hill was a freebie with the NME so it wouldn't count either.

I like this chart much more than the official one...and to think I said including all downloads would be a good thing...
