June 25, 200817 yr Big fan of the Kinks, don't remember this one tbh. Sounds ok, but a bit slow for them.
June 26, 200817 yr Great track and quite a sizable hit - it peaked at #10 in September 1965 I was quite a fan of this band featuring brothers Ray & Dave Davies. My fave single is Days (later covered by the late Kirsty MacColl) followed by Lola Dave also had 2 solo hits - Death Of A Clown #3 in 1967 and Susannah's Still Alive #20 in 1968 Days #12 in 1968 SzEakmzjQk8 Lola #2 in 1970 They re-recorded the first line to get airplay Originally it was: I met in a club down in old Soho where you drink champagne and it tastes just like Coca Cola I have a copy of the original.
