here's what I predicted to be big a few months ago, tipping all of these for at the very least, the top 5:

Madonna - 4 Minutes Obviously next week's No.1 if it doesn't do it by this Sunday

Wiley - Wearing My Rolex No.1 on iTunes video chart, plus it screams 'surprise hit'

Will.I.Am feat Cheryl Cole - Heartbreaker The version without Cheryl is doing well, the version with her should do far better

Wideboys feat Shaznay Lewis - Daddy O could it be the last big garage hit following T2 and H 'Two' O, it usually goes in three's

Jordin Sparks & Chris Brown - No Air doing well with no promo, imagine how well it will do with a video & airplay

Ting Tings - That's Not My Name Has top 5 written all over it, much better than Great DJ

Duffy - Warwick Avenue might scrape the top 5 but will push her album sales back up

Sara Bareilles - Love Song No.44 on iTunes pop chart with zero promo, plus its the best track of 2008 in my opinion

Ricki-Lee - Can't Touch It Being released on Hard2Beat, enough said...

Rihanna - Take A Bow not on the album, it will appeal to the Unfaithful fans and should go low top 5

Andy Abraham - Even If BBC will be promoting the hell out of it this time next month, if he comes anywhere other than last and gives a good performance it could scrape to No.5 and if it does come last he'll get the sympathy buy

Usher - Love In This Club will be top 5 next week and then top 3 the week after...

so...here's how I did:

let's see how I did:

Madonna - #1

Wiley - #2

Will.I.Am feat Cheryl Cole - Heartbreaker #4

Wideboys feat Shaznay Lewis - Daddy O #32

Jordin Sparks & Chris Brown - No Air #10 (and climbing)

Ting Tings - That's Not My Name #1

Duffy - Warwick Avenue #3

Sara Bareilles - Love Song #4

Ricki-Lee - Can't Touch It ...Nowhere (name and record label change)

Rihanna - Take A Bow #1

Andy Abraham - Even If #67

Usher - Love In This Club #4

so most of my predictions were right! I only got Wideboys, Ricki-Lee and Andy Abraham wrong :( No Air will go top 5 either this week or next...

in a minute I will post my next lot of predictions

Katy Perry - I Kissed A Girl just hit No.1 in America, and if it doesn't do the same as soon as it comes over here, I will be very shocked...also just won Buzzjack Song Contest 7 :D

Ironik - Stay With Me I tipped this as a hit a long time ago, but it's had a proper release and proper video now...it's out physically next week and with downloads growing, could well go top 5

Basshunter - All I Ever Wanted Hard2Beat are yet to miss the top five and this track is just as infectious as Basshunter's 5 week No.1 single Now You're Gone...could well be a second huge hit for the Swede, especially as we never got Daddy DJ over here (the song it's based on)

Dizzee Rascal feat Calvin Harris & Chrome – Dance Wiv Me will cross over Wiley style and give Calvin a much needed credibilty boost and give Dizzee his biggest hit. Potential No.1 in the making...

Kid Rock - All Summer Long he's never had a huge hit here but this 90's style summer pop-rock anthem will be one of the biggest hits of the summer and has already been an iTunes No.1 video for a while now

Natasha Bedingfield – Pocketful Of Sunshine a top 5 hit in the US, this is Natasha's best single since her Unwritten era, so probably in about 4 years...an infectious pop anthem, if it's not a hit here, it will be a crime

Madonna - Give It 2 Me it's started slowly but when the airplay kicks in it should be a lowish top 5 hit for the queen of pop

McFly - One For The Radio an inevitable top 5 hit really, they have a huge first week fanbase, and the song is more serious than their previous material so might well reach a wider audience

The Ting Tings Shut Up & Let Me Go a song that's been tailor made for fashion show background music/festival round up's etc...it's already been in the UK top 40 and when proper airplay kicks in, it should fly high

Pussycat Dolls - When I Grow Up they had five top ten singles from their debut album, so it's hard to see how this will miss the upper reaches of the chart

Velvet - Fix Me tipped as the next big dance release, but the fact that it's on Positiva might just scupper it's chances...should at least make the top 20 though

Solange - I Decided not out until August, but Beyonce's sister has Freemasons on the mix for her debut UK release and this one could well be huge

Annie - I Know UR Girlfriend Hates Me this is hard to call, and minimal airplay so far suggests a flop comeback for the Norwegian, but her upcoming album is hugely anticipated by 'serious pop fans' and they could push this into the top 20. With a bit of increased exposure, this catchy gem could go higher

I'm hoping Katy Perry will do well. At first I didn't like it, but now its grown on me like wild fire

Natasha's single might be pulled

Basshunter cr@p

Ironik should do well.

Dizzee Rascal I hate it, but its looking for a dead cert for #1,

Kid Rock I love it its more of a summer anthem hit, its got huge potential,

Madonna is a slow burner better than 4 mins, but might get shafted from the other releases at the time

Ting Tings again like Madonna, might get lost among the other entries

Annie's track just irritates me nothing special about it

McFly I hope they flop

The rest not heard...

Annie will scrape top 20 i think

Natasha needs to push it back if there is an actual reales for it planned.

yeah...shame Radio 1 aren't supporting it...it could have been/could be big

I'm sure POS could be a big hit if promotion started now and it was released in 3/4 weeks...I guess the songs that are destined to be massive will be eventually, and this song definitely deserves to be massive...it's so much better than Love Like This

Am i the only one who doesnt like the new Kid Rock single

I have to be honest...I've never heard the new Kid Rock song other than short clips here and there...I'm basing my prediction on it's iTunes video chart/European success

I hope Basshunter/ Dizzee& Calvin will be HUGE :kink:

Don't really like the rest much...

Katy Perry - I Kissed A Girl : Top 3 is almost guarenteed and could even go to number 1. Hot And Cold is better though.

Ironik - Stay With Me : #4 is my prediction for this. I thought it would be bigger on downloads than it actually is.

Basshunter - All I Ever Wanted : Definately top 5, I actually prefer it to Now You're Gone. The album will also do very well

Dizzee Rascal feat Calvin Harris & Chrome – Dance Wiv Me : It's amazing and I'd very suprised if it doesn't go to number. In fact, it could go to number 1 on downloads next week.

Kid Rock - All Summer Long : I doubt it will reach number 1, but it will reach top 3 and stay around for AGES.

Natasha Bedingfield – Pocketful Of Sunshine : Her personal best and deserves to be number 1, but in reality low top 20.

Madonna - Give It 2 Me : A huge fanbase will ensure another top 10 or if she's lucky low top 5.

McFly - One For The Radio : I don't think their physical sales will be enough for another #1, but will go top 5. Maybe they'll get some downloads as it's A-List on Radio 1 and that may be enough for #1 but unlikely.

The Ting Tings Shut Up & Let Me Go : It will probably sell too much before hand on downloads to have a really high peak position, but will have impressive total sales.

Pussycat Dolls - When I Grow Up : #1 or top 3 at least.

Velvet - Fix Me Not heard this yet, will look out for it.

Solange - I Decided : Not too sure on this, could go either way.

Annie - I Know UR Girlfriend Hates Me : She really deserves the big time but this isn't the song to make it happen. Low top 30 :(

Katy Perry - I Kissed A Girl - Top 3

Ironik - Stay With Me - #5

Basshunter - All I Ever Wanted - Top 5

Dizzee Rascal feat Calvin Harris & Chrome – Dance Wiv Me - #3

Kid Rock - All Summer Long - #7

Natasha Bedingfield – Pocketful Of Sunshine - #9

Madonna - Give It 2 Me - #3

McFly - One For The Radio - #2

The Ting Tings Shut Up & Let Me Go - #1

Pussycat Dolls - When I Grow Up - #1

Velvet - Fix Me - #17

Solange - #10

Annie - I Know UR Girlfriend Hates Me - #21

:o Rich what about the Saturdays - If This Is Love
Katy Perry - I Kissed A Girl

Ironik - Stay With Me

Basshunter - All I Ever Wanted

Dizzee Rascal feat Calvin Harris & Chrome – Dance Wiv Me

Kid Rock - All Summer Long

Natasha Bedingfield – Pocketful Of Sunshine

Madonna - Give It 2 Me

McFly - One For The Radio

The Ting Tings Shut Up & Let Me Go

Pussycat Dolls - When I Grow Up

Velvet - Fix Me

Solange - I Decided

Annie - I Know UR Girlfriend Hates Me

Katy Perry - sounds like Sara Barielles, so has potential to be a big hit.

Inronik - not keen on this

Basshunter - Better than their last one, though from my POV that's not necessarily saying much. :)

Dizzee Rascal - More bloody rap, so no doubt the brain-dead urban drones will buy it in droves just to irritate me...

Kid Rock - Good cover version, but his apparent boycotting of iTunes will kill its chances of being a big hit.

Natasha B - Great song, should be T5, but radio will probably ignore it. :( Plus, she is still a hottie :naughty:

Madonna - s/b #1 - much better than the previous, Timboreland infected, tripe.

McFly - Bound to chart high because of the nature of their fanbase, but we shouldn't have to put up with it for long... :)

Ting Tings - Another one that s/b #1!

PCD - Haven't heard this, but I can say already that I'll like it a lot more if it's just them with no rapper involved.

Velvet - OK

Solange - If she sounds anything like her big sis, I'll probably like this one

Annie - Another song I like, but one which radio will ignore, so probably won't be the big hit it deserves to be.

Katy Perry - I Kissed A Girl - Top 5

Ironik - Stay With Me - #7

Basshunter - All I Ever Wanted - Top 5

Dizzee Rascal feat Calvin Harris & Chrome – Dance Wiv Me - #1 - I think it will go number one on downloads alone too due to low sales at the moment.

Kid Rock - All Summer Long - #3 - But stay around for AGES!!!

Natasha Bedingfield – Pocketful Of Sunshine - #8

Madonna - Give It 2 Me - #5

McFly - One For The Radio - #1

The Ting Tings Shut Up & Let Me Go - #2

Pussycat Dolls - When I Grow Up - #1

Velvet - Fix Me - #19

Solange - ???

Annie - I Know UR Girlfriend Hates Me - #26

So Velvet - Fix Me will get a release? I first heard of that last year. Why will ibe released so late in the UK?
