July 3, 200817 yr Author Back to more serious issues. :) Does anyone think we might get a live cd from these concerts? Lots of artists seem to do this nowadays.
July 3, 200817 yr Author That would be nice. Didn't think of that. Fingers firmly crossed. Would be the icing on the cake wouldn't it. :) :D Seeing you Pearl has reminded me I haven't changed my calendar pic. Think the tour announcement must have puddled my brain.
July 3, 200817 yr Hi there Buzzjackers *waves* :D Hope peeps managed to get the tix they wanted, and if not, better luck tomorrow! I don't quite know how it happened, but I somehow managed to get Stalls Row A tickets for Cardiff and Bristol  :yahoo: I was convinced I'd missed out, as the link I followed from the thread over on D took me to the page for Friday's sale :arrr: and was clicking away for about 15 minutes before the penny dropped, and I then had to trawl through the thread in a panic, trying to find the presale link. No chance of anything decent now, I thought, and sure enough all I was getting offered were the higher tiers  But a couple more desperately hopeful attempts and bingo! I thought I was hallucinating when I saw Stalls row A. And my, don't your hands shake like crazy and your brain turn to blancmange when you know that you have a 2 minute stopwatch ticking away, with the prospect of those precious tickets being snatched away at the last second! I have my confirmatory emails, but won't believe it until I have the tickets in my hands. I'll have to check my credit card balance and maybe have a stab at one or two more venues tomorrow. Good luck to anyone else having a go! And maybe I'll bump into some of you at one of the gigs :D
July 3, 200817 yr Hi folks :) Managed row B for Bristol, pretty much in the middle so I'm well chuffed. Row V for Oxford and Roundhouse, think I'm about done now but you never know, I may be tempted to add one or two more :D Can't wait till November
July 3, 200817 yr Author Well done Lainey & Peachycheeks. :cheer: My lovely Will mate has just got us two seated tickets for the Roundhose. That's first & last night unless it changes. :D Just need Brum & Manchester tomorrow. I certainuy see plenty of England following Will. :yahoo:
July 3, 200817 yr I presume you have all registered on Ticketmaster? Then you don't have to put your details in again. It was the first time I had booked since I registered and it was so much easier. Even if you don't register, try copy your credit card number into the memory (Ctrl C) and then Ctrl V. I am probably telling you all something you already know. Best of luck for tomorrow.

July 4, 200817 yr Was not sure where to post this it's about the tour but also gives info on Changes :D The original Pop Idol gets ready for city return 07:00 - 04-July-2008 Be the first reader to comment on this story. AT LAST, a whole four years after his last Plymouth performance, the original – and arguably still the best – pop idol, Will Young, returns to the city for what promises to be another sellout show. With a distinctive voice to melt a million hearts, and songs to match, he is the epitome of a quality pop star. But there is so much more to Will than the simple ability to sing well. A Politics graduate from Exeter University, he has written about gay rights in The Times – though he confesses not to specifically address sexuality in his song-writing because he feels love and music are universal. He pulled off his debut acting role in Mrs Henderson Presents with aplomb, and more recently trod the boards with a critically acclaimed performance of Noel Coward's The Vortex in the West End. And of course when it comes to making music he isn't just the voice. He has been composer on some of his most beautiful songs, including Your Game, 2005 Brit Award Winner for Best Brit Single. His fourth album, Let It Go, set to be released on September 29, pushes him in exciting new directions, blending soul and disco with old fashioned pop. Will joined forces again with Eg White to write some of the songs and together they came up with Changes, the first single to be released from it on September 14. “Eg really brings the best out of me,” says Will. “Writing with him is like having a very frank conversation, straight to the heart. This is one of my most personal songs. I was in a bit of a rut, and I didn't even know it. Writing about the changes I needed to make actually helped me get out a situation where I felt trapped by my own actions. That really is songwriting as therapy

July 4, 200817 yr Thanks Sunday - just been reading this over the road: “Eg really brings the best out of me,” says Will. “Writing with him is like having a very frank conversation, straight to the heart. This is one of my most personal songs. I was in a bit of a rut, and I didn't even know it. Writing about the changes I needed to make actually helped me get out a situation where I felt trapped by my own actions. That really is songwriting as therapy So it was cathartic. When we saw him at the Little Noise gig last November he said "I'm happy now". Edited July 4, 200817 yr by munchkin

July 4, 200817 yr Author Thanks for the brilliant Plymouth write up sunday. :yahoo: They love our young man. So pleased he's worked with Eg again. I agree he brings the best out of him. I wonder if Eg wrote Let it Go after one of there frank conversations. It's probably why even the songs Will didn't write sound so personal. Hope you don't mind. I've copied yoiur banner sunday.
