Thought I'd better let you know sunday hubby thinks it's around 15 - 20 minutes walking. He works in Newcastle & knows it better than me.

But you can use the metro to Haymarket two stops from central station. They run regularly, takes a couple of minutes & the City Hall is just round the corner.
