July 4, 200816 yr oh the high llamas... i remember buying "hawaii".it was really an excellent album and its such a shame that people (and critics?i m not sure) didnt pay enough attention to it. Sean O'Hagan is definitely a great artist helping also many bands with the orchestration and all that things.
July 4, 200816 yr I remember their 1995 (I think) single "Checking In, Checking Out" which I loved which sounded more like Steely Dan than their following album's Beach Boys inspired material. Sean O'Hagan is more of a producer nowadays. I'm certain he has produced the Super Furry Animals amongst other acts.
