August 27, 200816 yr I literally don't GET that chart position! It had a Top 30 hit and promotion - what the hell happened?!
August 28, 200816 yr I literally don't GET that chart position! It had a Top 30 hit and promotion - what the hell happened?! It wasn't stocked in Woolworths or any of the supermarkets I went to. I'm guessing only HMV and Zavvi stocked it. But even then it should have done more than get to #180. Edited August 28, 200816 yr by Aaron™
August 29, 200816 yr £17 for an album! :o How stupid! And also, if you wanted the album from iTunes, you would have to download the songs, because you can't buy the whole album at once. So the sales would count towards the songs, not the album. :(
August 29, 200816 yr Understanable i guess. I would of thought Wooloworths would have stocked it though.
August 29, 200816 yr By the looks of it the whole release was just a mess then. Album downloads are tiny but you couldn't download it as an album on iTunes. You could only get it from Zavvi for £17 or HMV for £9.99 which is quite expensive in comparison to most albums these days. You could order it online for £8.99 which was probably the best way to get it.
September 3, 200816 yr Debuts at #9 in the US according to HDD, with 46k sold. Great opening week for an album by a 'new' artist with no singles that dented the Hot 100! Solo Star made #49 with 19k first week back in 2003, so a big improvement.
