The tracklist is so weird! God Given Name is totally not opener material and TONY is rather slow and laid-back for a second song...I'd personally open with I Decided or Sandcastle Disco.

 

And I really wish they'd used the Soulshock and Kerlin mix of God Given Name instead on the album :( It is amazing! Transforms an okay song into a stunning one.

It is silly. They put the album up, but you have to buy all the songs seperately. That's not going to help the album in the charts. ^_^

It will probably grow on me as its quite a different sound than I'm use to, however both versions of I decided, Sandcastle Disco and Cosmic Journey really stand out, the only songs i have'nt got into are I Told You So and God Given Name.

LOL. Literally nowhere is stocking it in fairness, only Zavvi and a few HMVs.

I saw it in my HMV and it was prominently displayed as one of the key new releases, how strange. :(

i think this will be like jamelia's 'thank you' album.

 

once "sandcastle disco" is released, it'll blow up.

The difference being that after SD, there are no obvious hits left...

not on this cd, no.

 

but she said that there will more than likely be a re-release, so i'm willing to bet that she'll be sent back to the studio to record new songs that are accessible to the mainstream audience.

she said she's gonna be shooting a video for "T.O.N.Y" - even if she has to pay for it herself.

 

i don't think it'll do anything on the mainstream/pop charts, but it'll do alright on R&B...maybe.
