Yeah i liked them, Nick Heyward wrote some good pop songs.

 

I remember his final hit 'Rollerblade' from 1996 got some airplay on Radio 1 which was

by now in the Matthew Bannister era which was some feat for an 80s artist back then.

It probably helped get it into the Top 40.

 

They & Nick were a little too lightweight faux-soul for my tastes in their 1980s heyday.

 

But I loved Nick Heyward's revival in the early/mid 1990s & his biggest ever hit in the USA:
