Hi guys. OK this is quite a long shot, but there is a track on S Club 8's second album called "Pretty Boy," as I'm sure most of you know.

 

I walked into a Chinese restaurant around the corner from me to hear the song playing. It was a different version, almost identical to the S Club 8 version in terms of instrumentation, but a different singer (who actually sounds quite similar to Stacey), and apart from a few lines it was in a different language. I don't want to appear racist and attempt to assume what language it was but I think it was Asian.

 

I'm assuming this is the original version, and it sounded quite nice; I'd be interested to hear of who it is, or where to find it.

 

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I think Pretty Boy was originally done by the group 'M2M' and S Club 8 covered it. Both versions sound very similar to eachother.

I found that today....wow they do sound similar don't they!!

 

I've found the Chinese version that I heard in the restaurant as well. It's quite nice.
