Posted July 4, 200817 yr Release on July 28th and C Listed on Radio One! I say it'll peak around number 12
July 4, 200817 yr I think it will chart around #12 or #13. But it could get higher; the chart isn't that predictable these days.
July 4, 200817 yr Erm there is no reason this song miss the top10 at all! Its got great promotion so far, and its already added on radio1 one month before the release, so for sure it'll get big airplay as well.
July 4, 200817 yr oddly enough, dispite my 'negativity' towards the track, im one who thinks itll peak higher then what the majority (so far) think! that aint a good sign.
July 4, 200817 yr *Yawn* they could have been created at anytime in the past 8 years, I think we've moved on from the days when hype promo was effective. For a debut single for a new manufactured girl band its very bad it sounds like a #12 hit from circa 2003. As for its performance I can’t see it doing much better than Billiam, maybe scraping the top20 with all the promo activity. You know what the way the record company has gone about spending so much promoting this manufactured substandard drivel I want it to fail.
July 4, 200817 yr I would love to see it go Top 10/5 but I still think it could go low Top 20 unfortunately. :(
July 4, 200817 yr oddly enough, dispite my 'negativity' towards the track, im one who thinks itll peak higher then what the majority (so far) think! That's only because all their "new" fans dont want to be told off when it gets released, so they all say it wont be a hit (or only top20) so then when its easily gets top10 they can say "ooooh its a surprise hit", even if its not because they have everything on their side to get a hit.
July 4, 200817 yr I dunno. This could be a surprise hit. I reckon it will peak in the Top 15 After the amount of money & hype spent on this new act by their record company, the "surprise" would be if this single fails to go Top 3. Anything less would be a disaster unless it is able to hang around a while in the top 20 for two or three months. Still the great thing about this record is that it/they have been talked about on Radio 2 but in negative (Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Girl Thing) terms, most noticeably mentioning the song it has sampled which has led to both Radcliffe & Maconie and Chris Evans to play the seminal Yazoo 1983 dance track (Situation) USA#1 Dance chart from where the synth sample comes from.

July 4, 200817 yr Yazoo 1983 dance track (Situation) USA#1 Dance chart from where the synth sample comes from. Now that is a decent tune shame these talentless bints have slaughtered it.
July 4, 200817 yr Now that is a decent tune shame these talentless bints have slaughtered it. spot on - a shame these 'pop fans' just simply aint intelligent or inquisitive enough to check the source of the music they profess to appreciate..... Situation is one of the most important electropop singles ever recorded - it's influenced simply 100s of other songs, has been sampled more than any song I know and even today sounds fresh, new and amazing - the 2008 Hercules and Love Affair remix is nothing short of magnificent.
