Posted July 4, 200817 yr http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/8/8f/Lost_Boys_-_The_Tribe.PNG/412px-Lost_Boys_-_The_Tribe.PNG Straight to DVD sequel of the 80's classic released on 29/07/08 . I am intrigued to see it but it looks like one of the most pointless sequels ever (next to dirty dancing2) It stars both of the corey's (desperate) and a lovely Autum Reeser of the O.C. Trailer is viewing on the official website . It doesn't look to bad. Just pointless.
July 5, 200817 yr Seems to me to be like all these sh!tty "Crow" sequels to be honest..... And those were all 'straight-to-dvd' affairs too.... "The Lost Boys" has a certain charm about it, even though it's far from being my favourite Vampire film, it also has Keifer Sutherland being about the coolest he's ever been in a film also.... I don't think that it's "sacriligious" or anything, as some fanboys probably will, now if someone were to come along and do a "direct-to-dvd" sequel to "Near Dark", I reckon that would p!ss me off far more.....

Kiefer Sutherland's charactor is impaled on a pair of antlers at the end of the film but doesn't disintegrate like the other vampires. Despite what Max later says, he isn't supposed to be dead. This was intended to be picked up in a sequel, "The Lost Girls" A script was wrote in the 80's but never got made. "The Lost Girls" sounds a bit corny but I would have rather that been made back than rather than the sequel that's coming out right now. About the Crow sequels. I only ever saw the second one. Never bothered with the rest. When I heard Tara Reid and David Bourenez (whatever his name) was in one of them I could have been sick. Edited July 5, 200817 yr by Ozmead

I only ever saw the second one. Never bothered with the rest. When I heard Tara Reid and David Bourenez (whatever his name) was in one of them I could have been sick. You're right, the time to do a "Lost Boys" sequel was back then... I actually watched a part of that particular Crow sequel ('Wicked Prayer') with David "Boring-Anus" (Boreanaz.... ) on Freeview.. It also had Edward Furlong in it of all people playing The Crow.... Just laughable stuff really, and boring, hence my only watching part of it....
