July 5, 200817 yr Maybe it's only my point of view... But for example Roxette still do (it's almost 22 years) the same style of music! And it's great! The same way as I can't imagine Bono Vox singing R&B, I can't envisage "Anastacia <-> R&B". But nowadays, everything is possible (almost - I still hope).
July 5, 200817 yr To be fair though, he's only writing songs for her, it's not like they're doing a duet or anything. Once she's got the lyrics I guess it's up to her what she makes of them. Personally, I'm loving the more R&B side of the charts lately, though I agree that I don't think Ana will pull off that genre that well - even Madonna's failed in my opinion. That said, I'd like Anastacia to develop more as an artist - similar to Madonna and Christina Aguilera. We had soul, pop and rock with the first 3 albums and now it'd be interesting to see what musical direction she takes with the 4th album. ^_^

What do you mean? :unsure: They say that FON is RnB influenced (some tracks yes, Destiny's Child sounding Why'd You Lie To Me and Dontcha Wanna), but I say its more Europop sounding (Dont Stop [Doing It], One Day In Your Life, etc.) but I Thought I Told You That is RnBish yes.

Agree Suus ;) I don't think she will re-invent herself like Madonna seem to on every album. Personally I think the new material will be kind of a mixture of the first three albums, ie. rocky, poppy, funky & sexy. And perhaps with something new as well, it's what she likes and what she does best. It's gonna be great! :dance:

Cruz is currently in the US working with hot American producer Jim Beanz on new music for Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake.
