Posted July 4, 200817 yr there are calls for children as young as 4 to be educated in sex and relationships. would this enlighten children? would it encourage them to experiment at an early age? and increase underage sex? or should children remain innocent until they are older?
July 4, 200817 yr Thats so wrong!!!!! god kids should be playing with toys not knowing about f***ing sex! god what a p**** thing to suggest! Edited July 4, 200817 yr by JonieWonie
July 4, 200817 yr I don't think that 4 year olds are mature enough to be able to take in that sort of information Certainly when I was at school anything to do with sex be it discussion or whatever was a giggly thing among lads and that was even at aged 12 so I doubt a 4 year old has the mental capacity to absorb serious information
July 4, 200817 yr A four year old should be learing about Cats & Dogs and counting up to 10, not about how fukking intercourse works.
July 4, 200817 yr For God's sake, let's let our little ones be babies for just a bit longer  There's time enough for that later.
July 5, 200817 yr In Scandinavian countries, sex education starts off at age 6 or 7 I believe.... I also believe that Scandinavian countries have the lowest teen pregnancy and teen abortion rates in the Western World..... ...So, er, well, how is it a bad idea to teach young kids about sex then, exactly.....? Yet again, ridiculous BRITISH hangups....

Like you couldn't have sex partially clothed.... :P  And besides, Norway's climate isn't all that different to the North of Scotland's in many respects.... Soft Porn doesn't seem to be a factor in Scandinavia either, they have very liberal attitudes towards Pornographic material.... Scandinavia's moral outlook is based upon a more socialist and democratic ethos, they dont treat their people like idiots... We should be a little more like them... I stand by my comparison....

July 5, 200817 yr the culture abroad is more behaved. so they dont shag just anyone in the UK its all out of control. what works in one country doesnt necessarily work for others. for example other countries have a proper education, here in the uk kids leave school cant spell, read properly, or even speak properly, they know how to shag anything, but they cant do simple arithmetic, this country is lazy I "ARKS" YOU (instead of ASK), i am so glad that i am getting out of it.

They're "well behaved" because they're EDUCATED properly, Pete and not treated like idiots by their Govts or the media, the state education system in so many areas in this country is p!ss poor to be honest, it really is two-tier; and we wonder why Chavs are created -_- .... Every fukkin' time some initiative to do with educating kids on sex comes along, some tw@t in the Tabloid Press goes on a fukkin' "morality crusade".... Frankly, I'm sick of it.... We have the highest amount of problems because we dont tackle this issue effectively, we sweep it under the carpet, put our fingers in our ears and keep saying the idiot mantra of "LA LA LA LA, not happening LA LA LA"..... Well, it IS happening, time to bloody deal with it.....
July 6, 200817 yr Sex education is something that should be taught by parents It is the duty of parents to instill morality and a conscience and morals into their kids it is not the job of teachers or politicians It is the responsibility of the parents of the child, and I put the blame for the decaying society strictly on parents but teachers should not be surrogate parents

Most parents out there are either too bloody embarrassed, too religious, or too pig-sh!t ignorant to give kids an effective eduction on this subject.... And you totally fail to grasp the concept of what a school or teaching is mate... Schools act in what is known as LOCO PARENTIS, that means, "in the place of parents", they are, in effect, legal guardians... They DO have a responsibility to perform those duties if those duties are failing in the home.... I totally disagree with you on this one man.... Absolutely NO subject should be taboo in a place of learning... You start closing off one avenue of study, and what next...? Devoutly religious parents coming along and saying "I dont want my children learning about Darwin because it offends OUR faith....". Fukk that.....
July 6, 200817 yr I think 4 years old is a ridiculous age to be taught Sex Ed. I think if your gonna teach Sex Ed at a younger age i suggest at 8 years old for girls as Girls are more likely to start puberty at a younger age. I think the average age that they start is, as i mentioned, 8 years old. I got taught Sex Ed in year 6 which is about 10/11 y.o and i think it was the perfect time to teach it to us as it was just before we started Secondary School.
