Katie McGrath episodes are easily my favourite. I love her finally being able to explore the real Morgana. It's interesting seeing a character we like change - is it wrong to continue liking her even though we know where she ultimately ends up?!

Just knew Merlin had to let go of the dragon in the episode, when he had the vision of the future in an earlier episode.

All I can say about tonight's episode is to quote a lyric from "the Mighty Bush" (© 1980s Smash Hits):

 

"Wow wow wow wow wow wow, unbelieeeeevable"

Mind you Emilia Fox was severely underused in this episode IMHO.

I love it too, I was shocked to hear that the 4th season would have 10 episodes and air in 2012 but thankfully it was extended to 13 episodes and Colin Morgan confirmed it'll air this autumn.

I know, I thought we were being cheated when they said 10 eps, thank god it got extended. Im just eagerly awaiting the moment arhtur finds out about merlin...oooh i hope its this series, coz then series 5 can be the pair of them taking everyone on as a true team! ooooh im gettin excited! :lol:

Doctor who should end on October 1st, I wonder if that means Merlin begins October 8th? Unless they change its timeslot, which I hope they don't. Still I don't see how they could fit 13 episodes in autumn, I smell a double episode (that or they broadcast some episodes into the new year).

I don't see anyone caring, but Merlin has been renewed for a 5th series also consisting of 13 episodes.

The new series starts mid Jan, it has been shifted due to other committments by some of the cast, as fas as I know.

Series 4 starts tomorrow and I can't wait! I reckon they'll split it in half with the second part broadcast early 2012.

 

According to Angel Coulby (Gwen) in this interview, Series 5 will be the last.

Cracking first episode, I'm hooked already Merlin never disappoints. I see where the BBC budget went, well spent on Merlin instead on Dr. Who this year.

Morgana looks so stunning! Really enjoyed the first episode.

I love Merlin, probably my favourite TV series :wub: (that could be Doctor Who, but it has had better days) I thought it was a really good first episode, it surprises me how it always stays fresh and suspenseful!

Finally started Season 4 and I have to say I am enjoying it :D
