Amazing performances though. The new instrumentation on My Love Is Pink and the harmonies on Too Lost In You are just lush!
July 6, 200817 yr Really glad they did My Love Is Pink & Don't Let Go :o I assume they did all AYN/Button/Hole & Freak too
July 6, 200817 yr Hole in the Head was a slightly weak opener, and the fans seemed to be taking some convincing, but from then on it was hit after hit and they were won over. The beauty of having a relatively long career by modern standards – six years with Scouser Heidi in the line-up – is that they have so many instantly recognisable songs to call on. And they called on one after another, varying the tempo along the way. Round Round was followed by Ugly, Freak and Too Lost in You, a perfect showcase for Keisha’s mellow voice. Highlights included a faithful cover of En Vogue’s Don’t Let Go and a clever mix of Red Dress with Frankie’s Two Tribes. The trio wound up their (under an hour) set with Push the Button and a belting finale of About You Now. True, it lacked Vegas glitz, but these girls can really sing and their harmonies were pretty much faultless. And the overall girl band winners? It’s just a high scoring draw.
