The Rebel county changed its colours last night to a paler shade of rouge.

As the curtain fell on Live at the Marquee 2008, the Lee side was awash with the colour pink.

Concert goers gathered from early evening, dressed in everything from pink tutus, flashing bunny ears, cowboy hats and other paraphernalia, to honour their entertainer for the evening--pop/rock singer songwriter Pink.

She burst onto the stage in th big top, in front of a capacity crowd, for the grand finale of another amazing concert series.

The pale tones of her pink-clad fans contrasted with the singer's own ensemble. She was dressed in a tiny black number, which showed her amazing physique, with knee high boots and black bowler hat (which covered her bold peroxide blonde hair) ... and she was armed with a horse whip.

She later apologised for not changing costumes -- but said her luggage had been lost! That failed to dampen her spirits and she delivered an amazing show.

From the word go, the concert was electrifying, as Pink danced and gyrated on stage, throwing herself on the floor, leaping up and down onto the band stand as if she had unlimited energy.

She entertained us with hits including Just Like A Pill , Trouble, Who Knew, Stupid Girls, Leave Me Alone I'm Lonely, I'm Not Dead, Family Portrait, Don't Let Me Get Me and many others.

Her voice was amazing -- but at times she was drowned out (albeit slightly) by her adoring fans, who seemed to know every lyric to every song!

She also treated us to some of her more serious and softer songs -- including Dr Mr Presindent and another song from her new album, called The One That Got Away, wich has country undertones to it.

She sang a medley of songs by Aretha Franklin, including a version of Summer Time -- that made our hairs stand up on the back of our necks. Her powerful voice was breathtaking. Her performance, unforgettable.

What made it an even more special show, was her engagement with the audience. She chatted intermittently to us, joking and laughing.

Pink's group were also amazing, as she was joined onstage by three males, and four females.

The singer was inundated with presents being flung onstage, including teddy bears, Irish flags, and even a bra! As she left she bundled them all up and brought them with her.

The show ended with her belting out Get This Party Started -- ironic when you think about it, as the biggest party of the summer, Live at the Marquee 2008, had just come to an end.

P!nk performed a set similar to her European Summer Tour with hits from all of her albums & eras including Don't Let Me Get Me, Who Knew, Get The Party Started, the Janis Joplin Medley & Last To Know.

Other info from the gig includes:

- P!nk confessed that she gave up smoking around 3 weeks ago because she was fearful that she would lose her voice and not be able to sing anymore.

- There were no new songs played as rumours had suggested prior to the concert.
