Posted June 1, 200619 yr :o Kept this quiet I prefer the original, I think this will be a very crappy remake to be honest, the original is a CLASSIC
June 1, 200619 yr why remake a film only 25 years old that set the standard for this style of horror and is still, to this day, regarded as a modern classic? Get the original out on DVD, sit back and enjoy it - forget about this tosh. I've seen the trailers for this ill-advised re-make and it looks laughable, truly shockingly bad.
June 2, 200619 yr Apparently it's a scene for scene remake too according to the reviews on rotten tomatoes.....another remake flop. It's coming out the same week in america as cars (pixars new flick) which looks likely to be the biggest movie of the year (although its a close battle with pirates of the carb 2 and superman returns)
June 2, 200619 yr Isn't this released on 06.06.06? I think that's correct ^_^ I've never seen the original and I won't be seeing this one, not my thing.
June 2, 200619 yr I well want to see that film. Only because of it's release date though. It'd do wonders for my Goff Rep. HAWHAW.
June 8, 200619 yr Yes It was released on 06.06.06.. what a cop out. The ORIGINAL trilogy - meaning 3, not that P-poor Prequel rubbish that they brought out not so long ago either - are my favourite films of all time. I can't believe it.... it does look laughable and quite frankly embarrassing.
June 13, 200619 yr Dreadful and very shoddy piece of work. look this is a Å koda http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/f1/Roomster.jpg and this is another Å koda http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/1/11/Skoda-fabia-1.jpg just think if another one comes along it will just like London, W1 where every other car is made in the Czech Republic
June 13, 200619 yr Just seen this. Pretty rubbish remake really. It's so obvious how it's edited to make it PG 13 (or whatever) - like when the nanny hangs herself - they cut the shot before the noose tightens. Was quite jumpy though - the bit in the graveyard made me $h!t a brick. Other than that, the rest was pretty predictable.
June 14, 200619 yr How was the photographer's death scene shown?? Very much as it would be in the Final Destination movies (however not as funny) and on an old Czech side street too!!!! this picture might give you a clue how he dies http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/6/62/Remus_lupin_hppoa.jpg "and thats for Basic Instict 2 as well"
June 14, 200619 yr Yeah, some bits were very Final Destination like. I preferred the original decapitation.
June 14, 200619 yr Yeah, some bits were very Final Destination like. I preferred the original decapitation. the only bit that was alright was the bit in the graveyard with the dogs. oh and those nice shots of the Czech Republic
June 14, 200619 yr :o Kept this quiet I prefer the original, I think this will be a very crappy remake to be honest, the original is a CLASSIC I agree, these modern remakes are $h!te compared to the originals
June 14, 200619 yr I agree, these modern remakes are $h!te compared to the originals I've not seen any of the originals. but remake or not still rubbish!!
June 15, 200619 yr Nah, the 3rd one is utter tripe! Although the dude (cant remember his name) playing Damien does a good portrayal.
June 17, 200619 yr Nah, the 3rd one is utter tripe! Although the dude (cant remember his name) playing Damien does a good portrayal. That would be Sam Neill no less..... In one of his earlier roles.... "Final Conflict" was pretty okay up until the rather duff final act "Damien - Omen 2" is rather good though....
