July 18, 200816 yr I like her as an actress but this isn't that good and I don't like actors turned singers really.
July 18, 200816 yr Yeah she is better at acting, but she has always done singing so it's not suddenly of I'll turn to singing. Because she was on Disney and such.
July 19, 200816 yr Series two of "Heroes" doesn't start off at all well I agree, but the last four episodes...... Pretty astounding if you ask me, I much preferred the conclusion to series two than the conclusion to the first series... I don't dislike Claire, I just kind of object to pretty much all the focus for the show being put on HER simply because she's cute and blonde and goes around wearing a Cheerleader uniform, it's just so annoyingly American.... It just grates with me slightly, especially when there are so many other interesting elements to the show, the Hiro/Ando plot arc was fantastic and far more satisfying IMO, but then I just prefer Japanese culture over American generally... As for her "singing" career. Well, frankly, this is NOT how I would've imagined her sounding. In the slightest.... Hmmm, I wonder, is she doing a "Milli Vanilli" or a Phoebe from Friends "Smelly Cat" thing....? Ive not quite got to the final of Series 2 yet, i was slightly dissapointed at the ending of the first series. I agree on that actually, i really like Hiro & Andos characters and Niki aswell. I think the problem with her launching a pop career with this kind of slutty/plastic image has really done her no favours, most people for some reason expect the real life person to be just like the on screen character so im sure most people will be shocked after seeing that video, its not like i know her personally though so she could actually be like this but i certainly can't see her having a career in music unless she puts a bit of effort in.
July 20, 200816 yr i don't like her voice at all. the song does remind me of Stars are blind as well.
July 22, 200816 yr The song is VERY Stars Are Blind, obviously. It's a little bit dated and not really the electro-pop she could've done so well with. Also the video is uber try-hard and slutty which is weird because Hayden isn't like that at all! The make-up looks awful on her, they look to have done a bad airbrush job, it just all looks naff. At least Paris' song came with a sweet video that nobody could really be too harsh on; everyone seems to be calling Hayden a $l*t now! I hope the rest of her career can turn this blip around. Perhaps she has better music to come. In other words, projecting a totally false image that even she herself is clearly uncomfortable with..... Never a good thing... She has a fair measure of power with the success of "Heroes" one would've thought, so why allow herself to be forced into something that doesn't sit well with her....? And, I disagree, I can be very harsh with Paris Hilton... I thought her "music" was sh!t..... :P

Hmmm, I wonder, is she doing a "Milli Vanilli" or a Phoebe from Friends "Smelly Cat" thing....? The first season blows the second out of the water. The ending of the first season was terrible, but I think that was only because it could have been so much better. The 2nd season is just a season that the producers of Heroes etc. just need to forget about really, no wonder they were so glad the striker came about. Claire's character is very Americanised, but then I guess you'd expect that with the show being very American, but she's part of the untouchables as I like to call them along with Hiro and Peter that will always be the focus of attention (for the time being anyway) because they're the most popular and have the most depth to their characters, well maybe not so much Claire but they were gonna add more depth to her in the 2nd season. As for the song i'm sure she's been into singing for ages, but with her being a big star now she's getting more recognition (even though her signings pretty bad tbh). I wouldn't be suprised if Radio 1 playlisted this at all though... they really have some affection with Heroes and all the actors side projects.
July 30, 200816 yr Is there anyone that's famous for acting/modelling who doesn't want a singing career these days? Stars Are Blind 2008 ;) But it's a good track. exactly my thoughts not a quality voice if you ask me :( she should continue with her acting career
July 30, 200816 yr She has a fair measure of power with the success of "Heroes" one would've thought, so why allow herself to be forced into something that doesn't sit well with her....? But her label need her to sell and having been on Heroes, whilst building up her public image, won't sell her music... :heehee: Besides, the entire video was sponsored by some clothing firm or some fashion company, I read, so Hayden or her label won't have the final say; it'll be down to the sponsors. It's some tie-in, I've forgotten the company in question's name now.
July 31, 200816 yr Yeah everything Jark said, plus her debut album she's been working on it for 4 years and in an interview she was like it's very diverse and such, I can't wait! I'm hoping for pop/rock songs like 'Your New Girlfriend'.
July 31, 200816 yr But her label need her to sell and having been on Heroes, whilst building up her public image, won't sell her music... :heehee: Besides, the entire video was sponsored by some clothing firm or some fashion company, I read, so Hayden or her label won't have the final say; it'll be down to the sponsors. It's some tie-in, I've forgotten the company in question's name now. That's complete bullsh!t... I dont recall Natalie Imbruglia having to sell-out in quite such a spectacular fashion to "sell" her music.... She pretty much did things her own way and managed to sell 7 million of her debut album in the process.... She didn't need no bloody sponsorship from a clothing firm or to project an uncomfortable false image.... Her reputation sold the music.... So, I don't see how, given the massive international syndication success of "Heroes" (which, let's face it, eclipses "Neighbours" completely...), that Hayden Panettiere 'needs' to falsify this $lutty image which she feels uncomfortable with....
