Disgusting, Leneshe was eliminated over Tatiana...so was Emily, Rose, and David...what are they thinking? I hate Tatiana!

I really have no idea who any of those are, I haven't learnt their names yet. :(

Tatiana made it through to the top 36. That makes me ill. :puke2: Overall, I'm disappointed in the top 36...as of right now, there are probably five people that I like at this point. Maybe I'll change my mind, but I don't know. I'm usually pretty set in my opinions around this time.

I'm getting there lol. Leneshe was by far my favourite but she was a bit dodgy in her last song, really sad to see her go. :( I really like Jasmine and Jamar as well but think it's too early to call them my favourites. ;)

I don't understand Tatiana? Average voice, surely the fact she sings everytime she gets a negative comment is just another reason for the judges to hate her? hmmm.

I heard that Joanna Pacitti was dismissed from the show. :o I have to find out if there is truth behind that statement. Although most people dislike him for his over the top performances, I love Von Smith. :wub: He's my favorite along with Lil Rounds, Jasmine, Casey, and maybe one or two others. (at least at the moment)

Yeah she was, I think it's to do with her having connections to the record company and having a relationship with one of the producers. Plus she isn't really an amateur, she's had record deals before and sung demos for Britney Spears. :lol: Does make you think whether you should be allowed on the show if you've had a deal before, perhaps Carly from last year should have been disqualified seeing she actually released an album, hmm.

At the moment, all I find is that there are only a couple I dislike, there just isn't many that I love. Von Smith is interesting, I think I need to hear more of him before I decide whether I like him or completely hate him lol.

Either you really love Von or you really hate him, at least that's what I have observed. :lol: Joanna has connections with someone that works for 19 Entertainment, so she got disqualified. I read that she was asked to quit the show, but she wouldn't and they disqualified her. I think the rules are that if the contestant (whoever they may be) doesn't have a current recording contract, they can audition. That would have disqualified a lot of contestants from last year...David Cook, David Archuleta, Brooke White, Carly Smithson, Michael Johns, and Kristy Lee Cook all made some type of album before auditioning on AI...I'm not sure if I'm forgetting anyone there...this year, it was Joanna Pacitti, Taylor Vaifanua, Frankie Jordan...I know of those three right now.

I think it depends how you look at it, being signed to a small indie label and never actually releasing an album is fine but Carly had more than that. I haven't done any research into this year contestants, this week will be the first time I'm actually hooked to the show. :P

Tonight's episode of AI was underwhelming. Stevie and Casey were trainwrecks, the song choices were terrible across the board...the only ones I thought were really good were Danny and Alexis.

I thought Kirsty was dropped before she released Devoted, only found out about Joanne yesterday.

 

Oh. :( But I guess they are still getting used to performing, it would have been the first time in front of a crowd for most of them.
