I can't understand why there is so much hate toward WWYAMC...you have to admit, she took what is a bad song in the first place and made it listenable. ^_^ I love her version.

I agree, her voice does suit Christmas music. :D

 

I really think Christmas Secrets will be on there, and TMOTN. Christmas Secrets is the perfect winter's eveing song, so it would go perfectly on there. :wub: And I just can't see TMOTN being composed only to not go on it.

I don't dislike WWYAMC as such, it's just a bit cheesy and would rather it wasn't on there, particularly as I've already heard it!

Yeah she first recorded it 20 years ago apparently and it has been re-released several times on various compilations, but this is a new recording of it. ^_^

It's now #361 on Amazon US and #6 in the New Age category on the site. :D Not been added to Amazon UK just yet though.

I'm so excited about the new rendition of Oiche Chuin. I adore the old one, so we'll have to see if it can be beat. ^_^

I have Mediaeval Babes' a capella version of it in Latin, which is beautiful and haunting. My only criticism is that it runs a tad too slow.

 

Is Enya's version going to be in Latin do we know?

I'm a bit disappointed that Christmas Secrets won't be on the album to be honest. I know that sounds odd because it's a song we already have, but I think it's a great track and I would like to see it reach a wider audience. The Christmas edition of Amarantine didn't sell particularly well in the UK in 2006.
