2008 BuzzJack's All-Time Top 100 Music Acts

I'm just dropping a quick note to say that the second Buzzjack All Time Favourite Acts thread (above) is open in the Lounge.

 

Last time I had 93 members vore, so I would love that figure to pass the 100 mark this time.

 

There is four weeks to vote in, so there should be no excuses to have time to come up with a definitive list.

 

So please help spread the word.

 

Last time Beverley finished 55th.

Hopefully she will, I didn't vote last time and you probably didn't, so her score could improve. Then again, some of her fans from last year may have left, so it might balance out.

Hmm, yeah, we'll have to see then wont we. I've already decided who the top 5 is and Beverley will probably be second behind Girls Aloud, so at least 39 points there.

39 is good, I think I'm probably the only one who will give her 40. I think Simon likes Sugababes, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Jamelia at least before Beverley - maybe some others too.

Hopefully Simon will give Bev at least 35+ points.

I think we might need a bit more than that if 100 people are submitting lists like thisispop is hoping for. :lol: I reckon we wont be the only ones, but we'll probably be the only ones with her in the top 5 at a guess.

That's not very good Simon. It's meant to be all time. It's difficult for me though, right now I'd put Estelle, Jordin Sparks, Gabriella Cilmi and Sara Bareilles high up - but they are 2008 "discoveries" for me, so I don't know where to fit them in.

I did the same really, as much i've listened a lot to Gabriella Cilmi, Jordin Sparks and so on recently, they werent included in my list. The only 1 album artists were Leona and The 411. I actually found it difficult to cut it down to 40 artists and a lto of artists missed out on points (Mary J Blige, Kelis and Lucie Silvas for example)
