Posted July 20, 200817 yr 2008 BuzzJack's All-Time Top 100 Music Acts http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=74460 I'm just dropping a quick note to say that the second Buzzjack All Time Favourite Acts thread (above) is open in the Lounge. Last time I had 93 members vore, so I would love that figure to pass the 100 mark this time. There is four weeks to vote in, so there should be no excuses to have time to come up with a definitive list. So please help spread the word. Last time the Take That finished 50th.
July 21, 200817 yr They'll be in mine too, along with The Beatles, ELO, The Move, The Stranglers, Squeeze, Madonna, Erasure, etc. The top 10 is easy enough to fill but it'll be tough looking for ones to make up the 40 - but I want TT or The Beatles to be assured of 40 or 39 points. Still haven't decided which to put first out of those two. Obviously the Beatles are leagues better song-wise than any other act - but I've never seen them live and in-the-flesh - so for all I know, as brilliant as they are on record, they may have been not very good live. July 25, 200816 yr ya i got in and voted staright away Can't see Take That improving on last year's position of 50th (in fact - I think they'll drop right out of the 100). Good job its not a 'proper' chart eh! I've tried to get people from other TT sites to vote - but apart from one (StephJayne) no-one can be arsed tearing themselves away from those other TT sites. I can't understand why ... apart from most people on BJ hating Take That - BJ is probably the best fun site I've seen. Norma
