The Verve manage to hold on for a second week under some strong pressure from Bloc Party this week which has to settle for 2nd place. Elsewhere it is a quiet week with only a couple of new entries. The Ting Tings move to a new peak with SUALMG and Primal Scream finally start moving on up to #13. The new entries come from The Stooges which was featured as the background music on Top Gear's race across Japan last week and Tilly and the Wall with a great new single that should tear up the charts nest week.
