This is good, and that's from someone who doesn't normally like this sort of genre.

It's a very "Slipknot" type of song.... But in saying that it proves they have created an individual sound which is unmistakeably theirs.... Before I just used to think that they were just copying Korn and speeding it up a bit in the hope that no one would notice (VERY apparent in the early stuff), but they've grown and progressed musically over the course of their albums....

Stone Sour are okay as well....

The sound reminds me of Testament after The Ritual album. Not their best (i have much love for the first 2 albums) but still rather good.

Really..? I thought that "Slipknot" was just sh!tty Korn-speeded-up bollocks to be honest..... "Iowa" was a good sign of improvement, but "Vol 3..." was frankly a pretty superb piece of contemporary Metal, without the "nu"....

That's one of the very reasons why I don't like Slipknot, I've always found them too familiar to Korn. Although I haven't heard this yet, so I'll check it out now before I can form a better opinion. :P

They kind of started growing out of that with the "Iowa" album... Then with "Subliminal Verses" they really cemented their own style for me, particularly on tracks like "Vermillion 1 & 2"... But the early stuff is just practically unlistenable tosh, not because I couldn't handle the aggression, but because I found it so bloody derivitive and generic....

This surprisingly good. They have improved over their early stuff. TBH haven't listened to them at all since their first album as that was just shouty bollocks.

I think if you listened to "Subliminal Verses" you'd be very surprised.....

Yeah it does sound alot like Korn, but i grew up with it so i'll always be fond of it. Surfacing, Spit It Out, Wait and Bleed, Eyeless and Liberate are great songs in my opinion.
