Interview with Al Wertheimer

This is such a fab interview with Al Wertheimer where he talks in depth about the photos he took of Elvis in the 50s. He speaks of the background to them and the things Elvis said, for instance, that pic of Elvis listening to that small record player on the train. When asked why he was listening to his record like that when he’d heard it on a fancy studio system just the day before, he said that he wanted to hear the record in exactly the same way as his fans would. Al describes his incredible charisma, like so many who met Elvis have said. One part I had to smile at was the bit where he describes Elvis getting the girl relaxed. :naughty: Believe me, he could get me relaxed any day of the week :yahoo:
